We stayed atthe Royal for two nights in May. My comments: 1.Excellent location, about 3 blocks from the mightlife and the beach. 2. Most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept on in a hotel - very soft. 3. Mimimally furnished - forget about cokking any meals there, I don't know why they call it a "condo" hotel" 4....

My husband and I stayed here for one weekend. The room was extremely basic: bed, shower, A/C, and the room was extremely small. That is the best way to describe this hotel: small. It was not dirty, but not spotless. My friend and her husband stayed at Haddon Hall further up on Collins and 15th, and I found their room...

This is just an okay place to stay--but if you're budget minded, probably a nicer cheap place to rest your weary head after a night of frolicking and such on South Beach. The towels are like wafers. There weren't many people staying when we were there--getting to know the front desk kids paid off. We got a corner suite to...

This hotel is in one of the best locations on south beach, you are literally MINUTES walk from all the best clubs, bars, the beach is a block away, all the coolest shops and boutiques are on the doorstep, you get my point! The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially when i had to check out a day early...

Stayed here for two nights in December before a cruise. I'd have to rate it a 2 out of 5. Hotel desk staff was unhelpful, but not surly. The "Solarium" was a second floor rooftop with a few tables and chairs. No facilities to speak of. Good location, though. After the cruise we stayed one night at the nearby Blue...

I have stayed at this hotel. Short and sweet, the hotel is in the heart of south beach's art deco district which is exactly where you want to be. The hotel itself is ok but the room is mostly clean and the beds are quite nice. They throw a high quality featherbed on a decent mattress. Room has a microwave...

We just spent 10 days here. The hotel is in great location, a short walk to the beach-entrance on pensilvania at eigth, NOT washington as it advertises. Hotel does not have any facilities which is a downer, eg bar, restaurant-they are round the corner from the entrance and there is not access from the hotel, so they are completely seperate...

My wife and I were afraid to stay here based on some of the reviews. I thought this place would be dirty. Instead, I discovered a funky, cozy, charming hotel in the heart of Miami Beach. This place is not dirty, it's East Village retro chic. You can't get any closer to the action. If you try to save a...

I must say that we enjoyed staying at Royal the price was reasonable, and the location was perfect. We walked to the clubs, the beach, and stores with no problem. There is even a club right next door which was pretty cool. Our room was clean and had an interesting futuristic flair to it. The bed was comfortable I slept...
