Breathtaking views, ideal location, cool funky vibe, amazing spa, great restaurant! Downside is that its a bit pricey but well worth every penny! A haven if peace and loveliness just a few blocks away from the insanity of South Beach- a must. We will return again and again.

We belong to the Spa Club and enjoy the pool, spa and common areas. The atmosphere and attitude of the hotel and staff and fun, attentive and helpful. When we don't have room at our apartment for guest we send them to the Standard and every visit is a positive one. The Spa is great. The services vary. I see...

I read about the Standard "Spa" and resort in a magazine, and thought it would be a nice getaway for an overnight stay with my wife. We arrived on Sunday 4/26 at 3pm,and found a procession of parked cars near the entrance. The valet was very nice and apologetic about the wait. Of course, there wasn't anyone available to assist us with...

It's like being in the Islands yet you're in Miami close to SOBE, We barely left the hotel withe great food and drinks why go anywhere else!! The pool is and the people are beautiful and fun while still being chill! To bad not on the beach but the isolation and private dock on the bay make up for it...

Used by Americans as a mainly weekend retreat, food ok, breakfast expensive, rooms minimalist with little room for hanging clothes. Outside bathtubs can prove noisey if neighbours inconsiderate late at night. Cockroaches came in pairs. Dinky gardens nicely designed. Really need a cab to get to the beach, not sure about the sea water quality here, pool interesting. Spa facilities...

We were very excited going into this trip. We are familiar with the Standard in NYC and knew this would have the same cool vibe but loved the spa / wellness component (on the water of course) of this hotel. The good: hidden gem - close to Collins Ave but set back on the inter-coastal waterway with the ability to...

Returned to the standard again this past weekend. Love love love. Best place in Miami. THe pool is chill, relaxing, quiet, and always a pleasure. The beds are super comfy and the housekeeping staff does a wonderful job making the rooms cool, refreshing, and welcoming. Shout out to Drago at the pool for taking excellent care of our group... shout...

Stayed for three nights, wish we could have stayed a bit longer... The hotel and pool area is very well laid out and I really like the style, especially when compared to the aging art deco hotels on ocean drive.. Sitting by the pool without kids charging about is a joy, as is the spa itself, The couple of small...

I love this property in so many ways (probably closer to 4.5 stars). Like many other Andre Balazs properties around the U.S., this property has a faded glamour element that will appeal to many people (and irk some). In short, this is not your regular South Beach hotel. If you love the SLS or the Delano, you might not love...
