This is an above average hotel in a great location near many resturants and cafes. I have stayed here many times over the years and they continually strive to update and upgrade the rooms. I love staying at this hotel and don't get to do so enough. I love the grand lobby and large public rooms. The bar is like walking into the 50s. The rooms are large and dated, but comfortable and I think they all have ocean views, at least mine did. Large pool with lots of seating and it's right on...

When you first walk in the lobby looks great so I was hopeful. When I got to the first room there was rattan furniture from the 60's and a television that barely fit on the dresser (it was an older fat model). I asked them to change out of that room and the next had burns in the carpet and...

This hotel seems to be a hub for flight crews visiting Miami. You see them everywhere here. The room itself is clean, but old and in need of renovations. The hotel have seen years maybe decades but who cares when the beach is just footsteps away. The hotel provides the basic amenities and the staff are very friendly. Rooms are scary, bugs, dirty carpet, pillows are hard as rocks, bathrooms are fine, beautiful pool and beach. Great location. Friendly bar and decent food at reasonable prices. I had a very good time. The location was right on the the beach with restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was free and most importantly the parking was free!! This is very rare in the Miami Beach area. Taking into consideration the helpful tentative service that the hotel has to offer I would recommend this hotel to a friend.
