Before I start my review, I would like to add that I was upgraded to a suite after booking a standard room. Thank you to the staff for over booking and upgrading my one night stay. I booked directly with the hotel. It was the cheapest rate and I also received the added amenities like the umbrella and chair, happy...

Thank you for the wonderful review of your stay at the art deco South Seas Hotel. As one of the very few hotels directly on the beach, we feel we have an advantage over other hotels in the area and we are happy that you agree! It’s also great to learn that you loved our affordable rates, front desk service,...

The hotel is located in a central but quiet part in Miami Beach, connected directly to the seaside. The room was nice even though the bed was really high. The services are rather good, everyone is helpful at the reception desk, at the pool and at the bar. The breakfast was a little unsatisfactory, especially comparing th the provided services....

Last minute getaway with the family. Paid $465 per night for a double room. No welcome, basic reception service. The wood on the doors was peeling off, rusted table lamps, smelly airco, most basic bath room, could hardly see through the windows. No service at the pool, get your own drinks and food... My advice, pay a little more and...

A very good location on Collins Street in Miami Beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel was a little worn and needed a little refurbishment. Breakfast was included, but didn't look particularly appetising. Staff were friendly.

I've been here before and enjoyed it. But since the owner died in 2015 things have changed. Lights don't work, stuffy, drawers won't close. The ice machine isn't working and it's 85 degrees. Desk was dismissive. When we arrived, there were four decaf coffee cups in our room. No caffeinated. Pool guy plays loud commercial radio, despite better music audible...

Dirty, scruffy, REALLY noisy, tired, and completely uncaring/ rude staff and management. We were returning customers - the place has lost any charm it might once have had and is now just seedy. Don't bother.

Spent 5 days there last week. Have been there several times before as I used to live in Naples and would go to South Beach from time to time. Had a great stay. Rooms need a little revamping, i.e. stain on desk chairs, chipped tub etc. Staff- front drive, desk, bellmen, housekeeping all great as well as pool attendants and...
