Many, many statues, and stucco work, and so much visual stimulation might bring you straight to heaven. We found it a wee bit overwhelming. But the breakfast was delicious and the hosts so happy to be doing this work. The large, back garden, though a bit run down for our tastes, is spacious and the bird songs were lovely. They...

We spent a quiet single night in the Garden Room. The room configuration with the TV viewable in from the separated sitting area only and not the bed is not one we prefer. Martha gave us some good recommendations for dinner and we ended up visiting the show at the Opera House. We were the only guests the next morning...

Victorian fully restored home. What a wonderful find! Beautifully restored with attention to detail, decorated with original, art oil paintings (available for purchase), like stepping back into a Victorian home or into a beautiful museum, restored wood floors, high ceilings, gold gilding. The best steak dinner we have ever had! We stayed the night room was clean and quaint with...

We stayed one night in the Romantic Garden Room. It had beautiful old world charm and was roomy with a separate sitting/television area. Unexpected European charm in a regular neighborhood. The bed is small for queen size. Martha was very nice at check in and Jean-Michael was so interesting to speak with at breakfast. The coffee and pastries were amazing...

We stayed for 2 nights in the garden room. It was wonderfully comfortable and relaxing. Martha and Jean-Michel were such lovely kind hosts, the food was beautifully prepared and served. We even had the chance to order Martha's evening meal that was perfectly tasty with wine and coffee. We had interesting conversations and learnt about how the exotic building we...

My husband surprised me with a getaway. Jean and Martha were the absolute best!!! The food was wonderful and the service even better. The place was historically beautiful with very fine craftsmanship. Outside at night was very romantic and inside the rooms felt like I was in France. I will definitely visit again and again!

My wife and I had never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before----and The Cottage exceeded our expectations. Martha and Jean Michelle are the perfect hosts. Do not, repeat do not, pass up dinner. Martha cooked up a salmon dish that was delicious with coconut rice. The decor is remarkable. Breakfast was crepes. Also I had made a mistake in...

This was my first experience at a Bed & Breakfast and I must say me and my husband loved it. We stayed July 13 2013 to celebrate our 9th Anniversary and could not have been happier. Martha and John Michelle were welcoming from the moment we made the reservations. We truly wanted to sample the dinner from this location but...

We have stayed at this charming home several times. The hosts go out of their way to make one comfortable and meet all needs. I have food allergies which were accommodated at breakfast with special gluten and dairy free waffles and almond milk. Fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, and other offerings are available for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and roomy,...
