Detailed Reviews
Excellent hotel.
We usually stay in Pensacola Beach either at the Hilton or Springhill Suites, but now we are always coming to the Springhill Suites in Navarre Beach.
They could easily label this as a Standard Marriott hotel! It is the nicest, most modern Springhill Suites that I have been to.
So even as places as slowly reopening after or during (subject to opinion) this hotel had stellar service. We stayed the previous night in Pensacola Beach at the Hilton and it was a total train wreck.
Thoughtfully designed rooms, comfortable beds, clean, great bathroom/shower set ups, pool, small lazy river with tubes, beach chair and umbrella
Rentals available on the beach, beach front, they have a full restaurant and bar available, snack shop, gift shop, meeting rooms - beautiful beach views, not too crowded either, and during our stay the water and beach were cleaner than down the road in Pensacola. Worth the money!!! Cheaper than Pensacola too.
I would like to Thank the staff for being here, and being so warm, fun and welcoming.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels since Covid started. This is truly the best experience of any almost 2 years.
First, a huge shout out to Danielle, the Front Service Manager, and the rest of the team! I came into contact with three front desk staff during my visit (Danielle, Katie and Darrian I think) and all were incredibly great to deal with. They were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to accommodate my requests. I can't emphasize enough that great service in the last year or so is a rare find and they are doing something right here!
Housekeeping and engineering were visible and doing their thing and you saw that in how well the hotel was run. The bar staff seemed to enjoy their job and were very nice. Kudos all around to hotel on the energy of their staff!
All the other reasons why this place was fantastic (I'm sure I will miss a few):
1. Newer hotel
2. No carpet in the rooms. I don't know why hotels have not started going to no carpet. It is such a better experience. It was so AWESOME!
3. The bar in the hotel had food and it was actually open. And drinks.
4. There is a restaurant connected to the hotel. It does not do take out, but it was still great to have something connected.
5. Lazy pool was fun!
6. The towel system actually worked. And they actually had towels when needed for the pool. Always.
7. The breakfast was great. Real food, hot food. Waffles, eggs, etc. Coffee.
8. Air conditioning actually worked and the room stayed cool.
9. Parking was easy and pleasant.
10. Since there is not much on either side of the hotel directly...the beach was not so overly crowded that you were bothered. And although the hotel does not control the ocean, they get some points for such beautiful emerald water washing up in front of their location.
I have become accustomed to cutting a lot of slack to hotels currently due first to covid, then to staffing issues.
However, it was refreshing to actually stay at a hotel in which I never felt like I had to cut them slack (even though I would have).
Well done, Springhill Suites of Navarre!

My wife just stayed there this past weekend and observed basically no social distancing measures in place at the front desk on breakfast to go area. We did not eat as we observed numerous guests picking up food with their hands and then placing it back. The were no staff members policing this area to make sure CDC guidelines were adhered to. This was entirely unacceptable. We are Bonvoy Elite members and would expect more. We have stayed at this property numerous times, and this was very disappointing in this area.

Thank you for staying at the Springhill Suites Navarre Beach. As you could see while you were at our hotel, we do follow the CDC guidelines to the best of our ability. While we support our state, county and local officials regarding the current Safer at Home initiative, we recognize travel is imperative for some. Taking the time to sanitize as often as possible and individually wrapping our breads and pastries. It is my sincerest hope that you saw the signage we placed in the breakfast area asking our guests to stay at least 6’ away from one another, if not, I assure you it is there. We are monitoring all areas of the hotel to the best of our ability and availability of staff. Unfortunately, we are only as good as our guests when it comes to social distancing and touching of wrapped food items. We all have choices to make as to how we want to individually handle each situation we come upon. We will continue to do the suggested actions as per the guidelines and hope we all get better in keeping safe from this world-wide pandemic.

As a family who hasn’t been on vacation in over a year due to COVID, I decided to take advantage of the caregivers discount at the Springhill suites at Navarre beach. On the first day, my husband tried to plug in my hair dryer and the outlet shocked him and went out. This was brought to the front desks attention,
with no sympathetic. Then a man came to replace the GFI. This was supposed to be an enjoyable beach vacation to escape from COVID, and this was quite not what I expected. The weather here is quite not what we expected as there are high winds and riptide warnings at the ocean, which doesn’t allow us to enter the water. I approached the front desk lady and she seemed unaware of what the weather conditions were outside and seemed quite unsympathetic. The pool the last couple days is not heated and is ice cold. Your hotel description states a heated pool. As we are unable to utilize the beach because of the riptides, we are also unable to utilize the pool. This was brought to the attention of the manager (Scott) and again seemed disinterested in this concern. The last three days, your breakfast has been eggs, pork sausage, and turkey sausage, with two choices of fruit, bananas and green apples. Due to lack of variety, this gets old after the first two days. As pictured on your trip advisor pictures posted by management, there is no salsa, cold cuts, or muffins/pound cake. Your daily house keeper has performed the bare minimum when cleaning our room and hasn’t provided us with a restock in cups or Kleenex. (My kids both have a runny nose due to the cold pool). We have also brought to the hotel attention (Quinn) that on our reservation, we have listed four people and it has been daily that we have to ask for more towels, as we are only left two or three. Thirty minutes daily of waiting for towels. May I also comment on the broken pool lounges and closed restaurant through our stay. After multiple emails to an assistant manager after our stay, 25,000 points will never justify our experience at this hotel.

This is a new hotel and still very nice and clean. However, read the website carefully before selecting your room. We always stay at Marriott properties so we didn’t think twice when booking a room with two double beds. In this particular hotel ,however , the rooms with two double beds are divided by the bathroom and closet. One bed has a window. The second bed is dark and tight up against the door and there is no sofa. There are two TVs but you cannot possibly watch both at the same time due to the layout of the room. I’m told this is for adults with children - but again, you cannot have two TVs on at the same time. We would be happy to watch one TV -if it worked. The internet isn’t available here - I hope that’s temporary. Also remember that Navarro Beach has no restaurants except a pricey restaurant that is attached to the hotel

Sorry we disappointed you during your stay. The rooms are meant to be able to separate as your usual suite would do in a hotel. Watching two TVs at once is really not an option. I appreciate you letting us know about your dissatisfaction with our room layout. Thank you for trying the Springhill Suites Navarre Beach.

This event was a complete flop and also a food handling safety hazard in a Covid rich environment. With the price at $150 per person $300 per couple and all the prior hype, this event failed to deliver any semblance of a festive, holiday party environment. It felt like a “bait and switch” event as it appeared from the following promotion that the event was being held at the adjoining upscale Beach House Bar & Grille. We never would have made reservations had we known this was false advertising as to where the event was actually being held.
The first major issue was the lack of safe food handling in a Covid rich environment. Servers had no gloves or tongs for handling the appetizers, requiring guests to handle the food themselves as the trays were passed from table to table. The event was held in a brightly lit ballroom with almost no decorations. What there was of table decorations looked like it was just a last minute thought. Tiny candle holders without any candles, real or LED, and a short container containing several tree ball ornaments. No streamers, no balloons no ambiance of a festive party environment what so ever. Looked like a bare business meeting room. The DJ never said a word and played hip hop music to a mostly 50+ age crowd. During the 3 hours we were there 2 couples danced one time each. We wanted to dance but there was just no celebratory atmosphere even from the DJ. Upon arrival to this event which started at 8pm the bar had no mixers or lemons, limes and other garnishes. The booze selection was limited, cheap booze as were the wines, the lowest bar on the quality scale. An absolute embarrassment and total rip-off at $12.50 for a glass of awful wine or beer. Guest were leaving for a nearby bar and bringing back drinks. It was easy to tell because their drinks were in glass glasses as opposed to tiny plastic cups. The most telling indication of disgust with this rip-off event was the exodus of 80% of the guests by 11pm. Since we were part of that exodus I don’t know if anyone actually stayed for the countdown. Guest started leaving steadily around 9:30pm. Like most of us we were all dressed with no where to go.

I was pretty disappointed with this hotel. There were so many opportunities that they could improve on for this specific location.
Let's start with Check in. The front desk doesn't look like much of a front desk and there was no warm friendly associate to greet you either. Just one that seemed annoyed and i honestly felt like i was bothering her. After speaking to the staff, i realized how bogged down and tired they were. Seems like they are doing everything with little to no support. I felt like i was at the post office. We are also Gold Elite members and were never recognized and had to ask about a upgrade. Which of course there wasn't one available and i dont think she really cared to look either. Just robotic responses. When we finally got to the Room, the room itself was clean but felt damp and musty. It had a weird odor. The walls are SO THIN! You could hear your neighbor using the bathroom in the morning or early morning conversations. I was whispering because i didn't want to bother my neighbor. Bring earplugs. Just very awkward. Breakfast was subpar and really shouldn't even be advertised. Coffee canisters were always empty and when we finally did get one we wished we hadn't. The Pool that you glamorize in your photos was a lot smaller and was packed with children. No beverage service outside and the one time i went in to get a drink the bartender had a power glitch so i had to go next door to the restaurant and they told me that the bartender should be doing some beverage service outside. So what heck? People are there to spend money on vacation and i can't even spend it because no one wants to do the job Seems like so many revenue opportunities but the hotel isn't interested in guest services or making money. The pool was clean but all the screaming kids splashing and running a muck felt more like a playground. The beach was nice but more crowded then i thought but it is summer time so i get it. Local restaurants were sub-par so be prepared to drive for a good dinner. Just really not that impressed with Navarre overall. It has so much potential but its just ok. The hotel was very over priced and very over rated. I'm sad i used so many of our points on this place. Interesting i never received a email from Marriott with a review either. I would never return to this hotel based on the service, poor amenities and average rooms. We were there for 7 nights/6 days.

Stayed and this hotel for 2 nights with our young boys. First, the hotel is conveniently located steps away from the beach. The beach area is not overly crowded and has some nice sandbars for kids to play on. We stayed in an oversized queen suite with an ocean view and balcony. The best thing about this room was the size. The two queen beds were separated by the bathroom and the balcony queen side also had a sofa. The bathroom had a large shower with a nice shower head. There’s a small nook with a microwave and mini fridge. There are TVs in front of each bed. The bad thing about our room it had a broken door handle on the balcony door, the AC filter needed to be changed, the balcony door and main door were very loud when it shut, and the mini fridge did not stay cold for very long. We heard noises from the hallway, but it wasn’t anything abnormal for a hotel stay. Outdoor pool was very nice. There’s a tiny indoor pool, but it’s nothing special. Pool and beach towels are available for checkout at the front desk. Now on to the worst part, breakfast. This hotel advertises free breakfast. It was nothing like they said it would be when we called. It was self-serve cereal, milks, yogurts, bananas, bread, bagels, croissants, English muffins, juice dispenser, and grit packets. I know other hotels in the area (Pensacola, Orange Beach, etc.) were offering premade hot plates with at least some type of protein. It would have been nice to be offered a Jimmy Dean sandwich or something more filling. Breakfast was a huge disappointment.

Hotels are just as expensive as Hawaii, but we had a fantastic stay here thanks to the semi private beach and the wonderful staff, like Marci and Kalie!
We went for our anniversary and had the best nonstop beach experience. The hotel is right across from a pristine semi-private Beach. I thought Florida would look like Las Vegas and crowded but this was perfect. You can rent your own chairs for $40 a day and have an umbrella above you reserved and just sleep on the beach swim and then go to the lazy river which is warmed and then send me the ocean. I snorkeled and saw stingray if you fish and a sea turtle. The water is crystal clear and nice and warm.
Room:
We had a corner Ocean View suite that was awesome. The moon was so bright it illuminated the ocean and our room. What a mesmerizing view. Room had two televisions and a comfy bed. The balcony way great with such a great view, I even took a nap on it! You can see how quiet the beach was compared to others.
Staff:
Marci was so caring and helpful. She ran the twice daily children's activities and would come out to the pool and remind everyone. She was so good with the kids and really enjoyed craft time. It's hard to pull away kids from the pool or beach but she had lots of participants. She helped us with places to go and connected us with the right staff
Kalie was also very genuine and nice. Helped us a lot and was never annoyed with people.
Swimming:
Perfect. Lazy river was warm and managed well. Beach was surreal. Like a painting. Soft white sand, translucent water, turquoise and visibility was far.
Property:
Parking was great. Everything was clean, maintained well, and coffee was always flowing. Breakfast was great everyday
Such a memorable stay. Very fancy for a Springhill. Will definitely return!

Everything went smoothly, the hotel wasn’t over booked, masks and social distancing was observed, hand sanitizer by the elevators. The beach wasn’t overly crowded and chars set up (to rent) were distanced. I would have liked to have seen the pool get cleaned a bit more, but it wasn’t bad. Overall the property is lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our vacation, it was very relaxing. If noise really bothers you, you do hear the balcony doors and people-like any other hotel, we didn’t find it to be disruptive at all. I feel this place is good for families and couples, It maybe too chill for teenagers or young adults, but that kinda goes for Navarre beach in general. We can’t wait to come back.

There is a wall that goes 3/4 of the way in between with a bathroom but no door to close separating them. You can't see each other from the beds because of the half wall. Both beds area have separate TV's and dressers.
may need to call in for this question? do you mean gulf side and bay side?
There are two ways to get to the long boardwalk from the pool level. Stairs and a ramp. Once you are at the end of the boardwalk to get down to the beach there are stairs. I believe it’s four steps.
