We stayed a couple of nights at the Bilit Rainforest Lodge thanks to Tropical Gateway Tours and Amazing Borneo, and had the most amazing experience. The stay at the Lodge was included as a part of a package that included Turtle Island, Gomantong Caves and the Sepilok Orang-utan sanctuary. From the lodge we made a number of trips up and...

We really enjoyed our stay. Really nice location of the chalets they are spread our over a big area so you hardly see the other houses, great staff and a good breakfast and nice meals. The pool is small and just for small kids. Recommend for a couple of nights. The walk to

We stayed here for just one night. We were expecting a very basic lodge and it was much nicer and bigger than expected! Two huge double beds, clean and homely. Hammocks on the porch and two lovely wicker chairs. The place had such a good atmosphere. Food was amazing! The river cruise was really fun, saw lots of monkeys although...

First the positives. The location across the river made you feel like you were really in the rainforest. The river cruises were fantastic, we were luck enough to see lots of Proboscis monkeys, Pygmy elephants (twice) and the elusive Orangutans and the night cruise offered by the resort was well worth the extra cost as we saw lots of nocturnal...

Stayed here with my husband and daughter, the rooms were lovely and the hammocks on the porch were a lovely touch. We went on the boat trip up the river and saw monkeys and lots of birds. The staff were lovely and helpful and our guides were lovely.

This is an excellent base for exploration of the river and surrounding area. The hotel itself is basic but comfortable. It is constructed with a series of walk ways that elevates you from the ground. The rooms are large and clean. No TV, basic shower that runs warm but not hot and large comfortable beds. There is a bar that...

We stayed here as part of a trip around Sabah and this was a great place to stay. Certainly felt like you were staying in the jungle but with all the comforts of a hotel. Everyone who stayed got their own wooden “hut” however the furnishings were modern and air con included. You had to contend with bugs in parts...

We originally booked the lodge for 4 nights for 583£ full board. We stayed only 2 nights and then we run away just not to spoil our vacations! So, we lost more than 450£ (around 290 for the 2 nights + 140 for new flight back to Kuala Lumpur + extra money for food). The problems were: 1) many cockroaches...

The overall (big) size of the chalet makes them a bit less cosy, but the overall location (surrounded by the river, rainforest and wildlife) is truly amazing! Chalets are overall clean, comfy and facilitates are great (good local good; don't expect any hamburgers, hotdogs or french fries, but truly great local food!). Don't expect 5-star luxury (e.g. shower is sometimes...

We stayed here for two nights, and had a nice villa / cottage with two large beds, big enough for 4. Peaceful place. Loved the River Cruises, we saw lots of animals! - Pygmy Elephants, crocodiles, Proboscis Monkeys, Orang Utans and many more. Beautiful nature along the river.
