If you are looking to get away from it all and return to nature this is the place for you. Quiet rooms (except for the animal noises) 2 big double beds with showering facilities and toilets. Food was great as were the helpful staff. My tour guide was amazing with the children. It is rustic but that's the type of...

I was lucky to stay in this place for few days during Xmas with my daughter..On XMas eve we were pampered by very sumptuous dinner and followed by singing and dancing.I can't forget those memorable days there. Every morning we had buffet breakfast with a variety of choices. The River Cruise was also very very exciting and we saw very rare...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights during low season and it was really great! We didn't know much before we left but everything was better than we had expected! The lodge was just renovated so everything was very nice and clean, the food was so so good and the staff was very nice and...

Now most people thing that the only people giving such bad reviews are pompous and expect far too much, quite the opposite for this. It was the last weekend of our stay and the most expensive place we had booked to stay at, we tried to get hold of a minibus from sandakan airport but could not get hold of...

Rooms are old and in desperate need of a renovation. I stayed here in 2012 as well and they were old then and nothing has been done to them since. Food is OK but a very limited menu. Pool is a long walk from hotel and I think they share it with the hotel up the road. Very close to...

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a package tour through Amazing Borneo. On first glance, the resort looks quite nice--the rooms are along an elevated platform, and they are quite spacious. However, the hotel is basically situated on marshland. When we were there, the nice grass on the ground in the pictures was all gone and it...

We stayed two nights having been ferried from Sandakan airport. Some of the roads in Sabah leave something to be desired but the trip via the Gomantong Caves was comfortable enough. Large comfortable room - running water was an interesting brown colour when first turned on but eventually flushed trough. Air condition was good and we even had a noisy...

We had a great time in Bilit. Mostly because of the rivercruises. At 6 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon you go out to spot the wonderful wildlife of Borneo. And did we spot wildlife... yes! Wild Urang Utans, red leaf monkeys, silverleaf monkeys, longtail macacs, preditor birds, kingfishers, proboscis monkeys... There are more boats on the river...

Ditch the loafers, the Loakes or the stilettoes, you are in the jungle! Although some fellow travellers were dressed for trekking our guide told us shorts, T shirts and flip flops were the order of the day. The "resort" is built on stilts and at reception, the main assembly/eating area/bar and chillout room all footwear must be discarded. The food...

We were not sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Check in was simple and we were offered cooling drinks on our arrival. The cabins are raised on stilts with a raised walkway around the site. There is a central eating and bar area were you need to remove footwear before entering. The food was buffet style, well cooked...
