It was amazing!! The room was spacious, clean very comfortable. The people from front desk to servers housekeeping all exceptionally patient and friendly. Danielle that is manager at the recreational park was the best!! She surpassed my expectations of having my grandson‘s 4th birthday at the pool in a cabana. She was able to accommodate me with a cabana decorated with balloons and all birthday decorations with a shout out! She was so friendly patient and beyond helpful. Highly recommend this place and if you are in need of help with the special occasion contact Daniel recreational manager!! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR GREAT EXPERIENCE!
We have stayed in Disney resorts in the past but decided to try to go off property for our latest trip to Orlando. We chose the Grove without knowing much about it and what a good choice we made. The rooms are big and comfortable. The pools are amazing. The staff is warm and friendly. Very pleased to have all of the food options on site including the market. A special mention for Leinny in the market who was so wonderful and shared some great Disney tips!
Very clean and super friendly staff. Thank you Jaime at the front desk for all of your help! Thank you Eric for your attentive service in the waterpark! Thank you Chris for reaching out about our stay! Excellent guest service!! My family and I don't get to vacation much due to work, we had an amazing time. Thank you!
We had the best time at this resort and Leinny Lerner was exceptionally wonderful every time I visited the convient store that has EVERYTHING you need from food, drinks, as well as if you may have forgotten something like a toothbrush or soap, etc. 5 stars 😘
My family and I just came back from a 5 day stay at The Grove. If you are expecting top notch service, look elsewhere. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite overlooking the fountain area which was spacious, modern and really had all of the amenities of home. The water park was a great place for my daughter (age 5) to play and she spent a LOT of time there. That's where the positive review ends and we go downhill... There is NO housekeeping. We found out that if you stay any less than 6 days, you do NOT get housekeeping. This means YOU take out your own garbage. There is no cleaning of the rooms AT ALL so bring your own mop, bucket and vacuum cleaner. You will have to make your own beds and there will be no laundering of ANY sheets/blankets/pillow cases. Your toilet paper will not be replaced. Nor will your tissues or towels unless you tell them you need something. Your garbage and soiled towels must be taken out by YOU and YOU must request new items. It's crazy. Our sliding glass door was broken when we got there so we immediately alerted the resort about this issue. We were initially told that someone would be up to fix it so we would be able to sleep with the door closed and locked but no one ever came. We called the following day and were told it would be fixed at 9am but returned at 11pm to find that nothing had been done. Long story short - it took 4 days for anyone to come up and fix our door. The same employee who fixed our door also unclogged our toilet. He then left the dirty, poop covered plunger in our full garbage pail in the bathroom. How disgusting. Our phone headset did not work at all so all calls were made on speaker phone and the phone labels were all wrong so we never knew who we were calling. After five days of telling us someone would replace our phone with a new, working one - nothing was ever done about it. The hot tub and pool by the restaurant are FILTHY. I don't know if they don't use a skimmer, but it was full of leaves, bugs and debris. One night, while my daughter and I were asleep, I heard a noise in my room in the kitchen "hall" area. I walked out to find two employees standing IN MY ROOM. I reported this to three associates. No one seemed to care too much and any time I tried to speak to a manager about this they were "busy". One staff member gave me a $120 credit from my parking and resort fees but no one would speak to me about the incident. No matter where we were, we saw housekeepers doing nothing but hanging out and talking to one another but it took over 24 hours to get soap (which is ALSO not replaced unless you ask for it). The resort is also HUGE. I mean GIGANTIC and confusing. So bring your map and some serious patience.…
