Booked very last minute due to bad weather in Savannah. Hotel was at capacity and did not receive any upgrades (titanium). Booked no view and received little too no view. We have stayed here a dozen times but always went to the Parks. This trip we went to the pools daily and took advange of hotel restaurants and The Boardwalk. Very low key trip. We very much enjoyed the grotto pool. It was a little cool but enjoyable the last day as it was near 90 degrees. The DJ on Saturday and Sunday was perfect. The DJ on Monday (The Twins), did not play to the audience. It would be great if we were at South Beach but not the same demographic. Would rather listen to nothing. The food and drinks were good. I wish they expanded the mobile ordering as numerous food and drinks items not listed. Housekeeping did a great job. I like the new welcome options for Platinum and above. There was one incident with a rude guest on Sunday at the pools and Chris (I believe this name- manager with a beard and bald/wore a black hat) was very professional and handled the situation as best as possible. He apologized to us and bought our kids ice cream.

If your a loyal titanium or ambassador with Marriott this property does not care. They do not honor late checkouts. I myself stay in over 300+ hotels a year and refuse to stay at a property where they don’t care about there rewards members. The rooms are nothing special and of course you have the resort fees and parking fees. If your a family save yourself the money and stay at a non resort hotel and use the savings at Disney. Please if your a loyal Marriott Member lets not stay at this hotel, they don't value you.

Upon arriving in our balcony suite room the tv was blaring and the room was so heavily deodorized thar I started to get both a migraine and an asthma attack. We went down to the desk - no concern or apology - had to wait to get a new room. Luckily the bellman helped us move rooms. Someone started with A leaf blower at 7:55 this morning - right outside our patio. So we are both wide awake. We came here for a romantic night before we get married and it’s been a nightmare. Not what it used to be! My asthma acted up all night and I used my inhaler multiple times. Other guests we spoke to in elevator also said rooms were very heavily deodorized. It was so bad my eyes were watering! Sorry I came!

Mostly unimpressed. Stayed here for a conference and it became clear early on that this facility is still trying to get back up to speed post-pandemic. Long check-in lines and not enough staff to keep up. Also, the wi-fi was out —which is a no-no for business travelers. I was refunded the “resort fee” for that trouble. Additionally, despite being a Marriott Gold member they had me at a lower status in their system and initially wouldn’t upgrade me. After gentle pushback we got that worked out but not before I was essentially told they were doing me a “favor” because I got the room for a conference rate and they could have upgraded it to “somebody who paid more.” The nerve. I was nice about it but obviously that rubbed me the wrong way considering I didn’t have to stay at this hotel at all for this conference, and did not earn any Marriott points because of their ridiculous rules around point-earning. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the conference site was fine. Oddly they had a lunch for us that was a clean mile walk to the other side of the facility. On a hot day and for mobility impaired people this would be a non-starter. Very odd and off-putting set up that I can’t imagine the conference conveners actually wanted. We had a business dinner at Shula’s steakhouse that was great, impeccable service and food from beginning to end. But overall? The Swan (and Dolphin) felt like another nickel-and-diming Disney resort that takes itself too seriously without delivering the level of service they’re charging for. I don’t have any reason to be in Orlando except for work so I can’t imagine I’d stay here again. And my advice to people who are bringing families and going to Disney attractions: go elsewhere. You’ll get a better bang for your buck and better service somewhere else in the vicinity.

This is a certified disney hotel - spacious room, great views of the lake or the parks, nice restaurants, great hotel gym, and of course- easy access to the parks with the boat or bus.. the price per night (at least during my visit in may) gives a very good ROI from this visit!

After staying at the Dolphin for 1 night, I moved over to the Swan for 3 nights to attend a conference being held in both hotels. I had checked in via the app before I arrived. On arrival, the front desk person quickly checked me in by asking for my ID and credit card. Even though there was no one else there, he didn't really make any effort to ask or say anything - nothing about the property amenities or what's included in the resort fees. Because I was using a conference rate, they did not provide any Bonvoy Elite benefits. After getting my keys, I walked through the hotel toward the elevators. It's much less grand then the Dolphin. When I got to my room floor, I saw the hallways looked pretty much the same - worn, but clean and tidy. Upon entering my room, I felt it was smaller than my room at the Dolphin, but it had an extra sink outside the bathroom, which could be handy. Otherwise, the room was plain and not particularly special in any way. I thought the pillows were a bit hard, but WiFi was strong. Because of the conference, the gym was closed, so I had to walk over to the Dolphin to use the gym there. Fortunately, since they all operate together, there's no problem sharing most of the amenities between the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve. The hotel is close to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, so both are an easy walk or boat ride away. My checkout experience was much better than my check-in. Very friendly, and very courteous. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit. The big bonus is being near two of the Disney parks, with 30 minute early access. Also some good restaurants on site. You're paying a premium for these conveniences, so might be worth it for some more than others. I would consider coming back.

Before I even get to the review please know that this hotel hits you with a resort fee of $45 for every night you stay. We weren’t aware of this when we booked, and when we did find out we were told it was $40. A week after departure I received a $315 fee for a 7 night stay. There was a $5 nightly tax on the $40 nightly fee. So yeah. Welcome to the Swan we hope your wallet enjoyed it’s stay. (We were told on arrival this fee is for use of the amenities such as the pool, the wifi and the gym. You know, the stuff every other hotel has and doesn’t charge you for!) Also, the wifi is terrible. We had to wait until we moved to our next hotel to make a WhatsApp call home. Ridiculous fees aside. We didn’t enjoy our time in the Swan. Having stayed in the Dolphin previously I expected the Swan to be another level up but in reality the Swan felt like a 2 star, with a heftier price tag! Our room was front facing and unfortunately we got a view of the lobby’s orange roof. The facilities in the bathroom are beyond dated and faulty. The shower switch doesn’t work properly, when you switch to the shower half the water still comes out of the bath tap. There was a locked door in the room that I’m assuming can be opened up if you booked a family room. The walls are so thin that you can hear the guests on the other side. Clearly! Not just mumbling. They may as well have been in our room. We did voice our concerns soon after checking in but we were told another room wouldn’t be much better, even if we were willing to pay extra money to upgrade. Outside of the room the hotel itself is freezing. To the point of discomfort. Twice we ate in the Italian restaurant (the food was lovely) but it’s definitely lower than 60 degrees. It was a matter of wrapping up, eating as quickly as you could and get out of there. (I will say though the staff are so friendly in there as well as the bar). Lastly, when we got our bags to leave we asked if a taxi could be called to take us to our next hotel. We were told to call and uber/lyft ourselves. Since we didn’t have our data active on our phone we couldn’t so they pointed us to a phone to ring another company. Maybe I’ve been spoiled but I’ve never had to call for a taxi myself in any hotel I’ve stayed in ever. Good things about the hotel The TV in the room is massive. At least a 55 inch. The beds and pillows are very comfy. The pizza in the restaurant was probably the best I have ever tasted and the lady behind the bar who served us most nights was really nice, as well as the staff in the restaurant and cafes. The boats outside the hotel that take you to Epcot and Hollywood studios are the best form of transport. If you feel like walking though it’s not a long distance and the scenery is stunning, especially on the Boardwalk. It is one of the most convenient areas to stay for all things Disney. The pool area is really nice and has waterfall feature in the main pool (but the water is freezing). The Dolphin shares most of the things I love about this area. I wouldn’t stay in the Swan again but I would consider staying in the Dolphin, but only if there are no hidden resort fees. If that’s the same case there, then put your money somewhere more honest.

My husband and I visited the Swan for 8 days this month. We've been here many times. Our last visit was in October of 2021. The hotel looks great. Our accessible room on floor 5 was very nice. We enjoyed the balcony. The heavenly bed is still just that. The linens seemed a little scratchy and the pillows weren't great. We ate at Il Mulino, Garden Grove, Picabu, the Fountain and the new mexican place, Rosa's. All of them were wonderful. The weather was glorious for our entire trip. The provided transportation to the Studios and Epcot were perfect. The bus service to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, not so much. Eventually, we just walked over to the Boardwalk and took their buses. The bus from the Swan to Magic Kingdom drops you at the TTC and then you have to take the monorail or the ferry. The bus from the Swan to Animal Kingdom drops you off in the parking lot, not where the other resort buses are. Maybe this is just fine for some but when you are traveling with someone disabled, it adds a little more work to the process. All in all, we really love the Swan. Having the boardwalk next door with other dining options is great.

Really like the location of the Swan. It is located on the Boardwalk with easy access to the back gates of Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Boat transportation close by and the new Skyway is within walking distance. Hotel is clean with very nice coffee shop for morning Mocha and muffin. Room was adequate size, They have done away with the individual toiletries which I miss but understand from a environmental standpoint. You do pay for parking but lot is right next to hotel and plenty of parking. The only thing I wish they had was Swan and Dolphin themed merchandise. Their stores were just small Disney Store's with the same stuff as every place else, but they used to sell merchandise unique to resort. Please Mariott and Disney, come to some sort of agreement to sell unique merchandise!

The Swan has been a family favorite of ours for a decade and every year it's amazing how the hotel improves with age. Rooms that were renovated just a few years ago - were renovated again. Simple and large scale improvements to constantly reaffirm their foothold as a jewel of Disney. The facilities are impeccably clean with landscaping that is straight out of a magazine photo shoot. Their quick stop and full service high end dining experiences available at the Swan are unmatched. Convenient to all parks - via the water taxis, shuttle busses and now the Skyline. Special thanks to Kye in the executive offices and Swan manager Jeremy for making our trip so special. Their attention to detail is unmatched and keeps us coming back year after year. Thank you Swan team - until next time!
