Had a phenomenal stay and was going to give 5 stars, but an hour after check out I realized I left a coat in my room. I'm still in town so I tried calling to check with the front desk and couldn't get a hold of anyone. I tried messaging through the hilton app and received no response. Can someone from the hotel reach out to me? I'm assuming housekeeping found the coat..? Thanks!
Stayed at this location for one night after visiting universal studios, front desk employee was clean and professional, thanked us for being Loyal Diamond members, we were promptly given our complementary water and fresh baked cookies, and Diamond members resort comp . he explained the resort’s amenities fully . We decided to Eat on site since we we’re extremely tired from 8 miles of walking in universal. We decided to eat at the American Grill on the first floor , the waitress was very attentive and friendly, Typical Hotel Food. Next door was an ice cream shop, ice cream was fresh and normal pricing. The room was beautiful with a nice view of the pool and pond . The only thing I didn’t like to see inside the ground floor with my children around we’re the male and female Guests walking around half naked at the inside bar and restaurant, men had no shirts on and females had no shirts on exposing their bikini tops (chest) and bottoms ( some exposed with G’s) not a good look for the hotel . I’ll definitely return while in the area .…
Stayed here for a couple of nights. The hotel is pretty tired. especially the rooms. Our room had a pretty dodgy smell that hit you every time we went back in. Also the towels didn't smell right. The aircon was mega noisy. Breakfast is about $25-$30. You can easily drive to Dennys/IHOP in a few minutes and spend 40% less. Huge car park, but we had to pay $26 a night. Starbucks on site, which is a thumbs up. About 15-20 mins from orlando airport and about a 15 - 20 minutes walk from universal. Staff were nice enough. Wouldnt stay here again, there must be better options available.
Nice room and comfortable beds. Pleasant 15 minute walk to Universal or they have a shuttle which if you plan to take make reservation early. Nice spa and pool open until 11pm. Outdoor firepit and fountain lit at night. Nice place to get a drink from the bar and sit in the evening. Breakfast expensive ($27.00 for the buffet) Servers were friendly and attentive. As Diamond members we get $30.00 credit for two which did not cover half the cost. Better to use credit at Starbucks on premise for breakfast. Parking $27.00 a day. When we checked in clerk not very knowledgeable about hotel or Diamond upgrade but they were extremely busy. Asked later after coming back from dinner and was moved to an upgraded room (corner more spacious with view of Universal). Hotel has business center with two computers on counter but no stools. I carried the stool from the car rental booth to use and then returned it when I left. Otherwise would have stood at the computer and was there over an hour completing work matters late at night. At least there was a printer available but no supplies or wastebasket. Overall a good stay.…
Hilton Diamond member, so stayed at many Hilton Properties and several in Orlando area. Best value in the area, especially if visiting Universal. Positives: clean, quiet, lobby and grounds are terrific. Shuttle service to Universal (need to reserve a spot) or walkable but you will be exhausted on your walk back at the end of the day. Hotel staff is great, especially Viny at the Sunshine Cafe and Brian (manager). Only complaint, breakfast buffet is overpriced at $25 and parking $26 per day but this somewhat offset by reasonable room rates. Recommend a room with Universal view, very cool at night time. If you have a Hilton meal credit, can use at the restaurant, Sunshine Cafe or pizza place but NOT the Ice Cream shop.
