I am a Diamond Member with Wyndham Hotels and I reserved a room for two nights at the Day’s Inn in Orlando, FL. However, once I checked in I realized the hotel is undergoing renovations and the entire night there was banging and loud noise from above. The bathroom looked absolutely disgusting with the ceiling falling apart and the toilet tissue holder barely hanging on the wall. I tried calling the front desk, but as you can see from the picture below, the phone in room 123 doesn’t work. I went down to the front desk and was basically told sorry for the inconvenience but they can’t cancel my reservation or move me to another room. The entire parking lot of was empty. One of the worst hotel stays I have ever had, especially at a Wyndham Hotel.
So I’m a travel advisor and I know things happen and are not perfect. So here’s a back story our flight was cancelled from Puerto Rico and Southwest did an amazing job with helping us find another flight thank God! Well we didn’t want to stay 7hrs in the airport so we decided to get a room! When I say you get what you pay for is an understatement! This property was really disappointing! When we walked in they did not greet us and was very rude, our room was was subpar to say the least. We had NO AC, trash bags left in the room, toenail clippers on the bed and hair everywhere ( idk why they left two toenail Clippers). We didn’t get to wash because the bathroom was disgusting and had a leaking tub, the toilet did not flush! My husband did not sleep for the whole 5 hours that we were there! We are so disappointed and I will not recommend this property to any of my clients even for a quick stay. I will be calling corporate for customer dissatisfaction!…
Been here for a month, not cause I want to. It's a living situation. Can't complain, but things need to be done for to this place. No breakfast when was told there was. Housekeeper was great. Front desk needs more training and the rooms needs to be remolded.
Do not stay at this location. Bad accommodations.Days Inn , needs to pay more attention to this location , remodel. or close location.Disappointed . Coming to Orlando for quality stay , don’t stay here.
Worst place ever False advertising There is no shuttle service and there is no breakfast A lot of things are broken in the room some doors don't Even have the black covers on the bottom of the door creatures Come inside The only lighting in the rooms are the lamps there is no lights above no smoke detector Pools are supposed to be open 8 AM to 8 PM buto 8 PM but they keep the pools locked you have to request at the front desk to unlock the pools and they don't come for a while And we're only staying for 3 nights and if we weren't we would be out of here in a heartbeat I do not recommend anyone checking to this place they lie and they charge you a $100 deposit Like I said no breakfast and no shuttle busses to the airport
This place is a dump. The only redeeming value is that it is right off the freeway and accepts pets…for $50 per night and a $100 deposit. It is obvious that nothing has been done to this place in years and many of the rooms where closed down.
Unfriendly and unhelpful front desk staff. Rooms dingy and dirty. No housekeeping. Lighting in rooms extremely poor. No breakfast or shuttle service. Noisy people at night. Rooms not soundproof. Seems to be catering g for one demographic as the girl at the front desk cannot speak or understand anything but Spanish.
Rude Day Staff - lady receptionist would not even stand to greet guests. Sat during the whole check-in. Poorly maintained rooms, had to change rooms twice before a third was found with the A/C and toilet working properly especially during the current heat wave. Maintenance of rooms and grounds substandard. Night manager was helpful in finding an acceptable room - he was the only pleasant experience with this Days Inn. I would not recommend this particular Days Inn to anyone.
Long story shortened , go somewhere else! We had a party of six and a rollaway bed that we were promised to have in the room of course we were told wasn’t available. With a party of six we only had one washcloth and one towel and when I tried to call the front desk and even went down there to visit personally no one was to be found! Stopped up toilet and no one responded! This was horrendous experience and I will never go there again!
Dirty, unkept, old and not worth more than $50/night. Everything (furniture, tub/shower, toilets, countertops) need to be replaced. The hotel gives more of a cheap motel feel. It is not worth more than $50.
