Entertainment crew with Lance and DJ Chris was awesome! The waterpark is great but these guys really add to the experience with their charisma, showmanship and entertainment! If you atay here, you have to checl out these shows.
Second stay was worse than the first in 2017. Place is outdated and rooms need updates and repairs. Appeared to be doing some renovations but service wasn’t great. Coffee & no cups day 1. No coffee or cups days 2&3. Noisy staff who knocked on our door at least 5 different times when “DO NOT Disturb sign was on door. !!!! Place has definitely gotten more ghetto since last visit. If your looking for an ok price close to Disney and don’t mind 1000 screaming kids and poor service, outdated rooms and elevators that are used by staff and construction workers that you have to wait for 15 minutes to come than this is the place for you ! As a long time IHG Platinum & Gold member this is the worst property I have stayed at. Spend a little more an I’m SURE you will get a LOT more for your $$$…
So we get there to register to check in. 45 minutes later, we get to the counter and the person to help us was stoned out of his mind ! Now we get to the room. No coffee maker,had to call the front desk . The blankets were dirty with stains .Now On the way to the pool , hallways was sticking of pot ,(everyday ) . The pools were clean,but never a chair to sit in ! The second day…… the elevators were broken ,as we were on the 5th floor !!!!! Stairways also smelled of pot as I had my 10 yer old grandson. Asking me WHATS THAT SMELL ? The food was terrible. Last day was terrible because I asked if we could stay 3 more hours as we would have paid extra. Our plane was delayed. They said no ! As you can see I wouldn’t stay here ever again…..
There are some amazing staff members here and there is so much potential for this to be an amazing resort! However, our beautiful 2 room suite quickly revealed the unsanitary conditions here. Our white socks turned black within minutes. The carpeted areas had debris in the middle of the floor showing that they had not been vacuumed. We gave the hotel 3 chances to fix this. While the room had even been completely reset with new towels, sheets and toiletries, the floors STILL weren’t cleaned! Forget talking to management if you aren’t on site with time to spare for them to come out of their office. The last day we were there, we had early morning reservations so we couldn’t speak to a manager in person. We called from the park to speak with a manager and never received a call back. We checked out early and we’re given a receipt showing the refund of the unused nights. However, our bank account was refunded a different amount. We have been trying to contact management and still have not heard from them. Also, we were fortunate enough to have our car, but be aware that they do not currently have a shuttle to all of the Disney parks. Only 2 of them. The rest you would need to shuttle to one park then take Disney transportation to the other.…
Rooms horrible dirty with rust on the doors, lights don't work in the room, same as the TV remotes, 1 working Laundry for the whole entire 11 building area walk 1/4 mile to do your laundry. Management say they are going to call you to make it right and never call! Not worth the $$$$ at all! if you are put on the 1st floor prepare to get no sleep at all! as housekeeping will be talking right next to your windows all night long! Terrible family experience definitely should have paid the 5k and bought a Disney hotel...
