Great property. Staff was wonderful. Great breakfast and evening snack. Had no issues whatsoever. Great location lots of things close by the hotel. Will stay again soon hopefully. Did not try testy but heard it was great from other guests.
From the moment I walked into the hotel until I left my experience was a very positive one. The professional staff was customer-oriented in the performance of their respective duties from the front desk to housekeeping to food & drink service... They are the major reason for the quality of my stay. Look forward to coming back in the future. This week my wife and daughter will be checking in for a week's stay.
The room was excellent. Everything was above standard. If I had to name 1 thing which reigns Supreme, it would be the staff. From checking to checkout; from breakfast to happy hour with Lynn - perfection. Highly recommended; heartfelt thanks.
By the end of this week, I will have spent a collective seven weeks total, in a row at this hotel. The staff all the way from the General Manager, Dane, down to the bartenders each night are the best in the business. A special shoutout to Lynn, the Bar Manager, Sara, all the other bartenders for making the Manager’s Reception amazing each night. This will be the only hotel I stay at when I come to Orlando. Keep up the great work!
The best thing you could do with this hotel is knock it down and start again, ITS VERY TIRED and need of serious TLC we stayed only 1 night then checked out fast The bedding looked dirty and it must have been 20 years old.
I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel, staff and accommodations. My family of 6, and 2 dogs, recently evacuated our home because of Hurricane Ian. Unsure of where to go, we reached out to dozens of Hilton properties—all of them unable to accommodate our large family…that was until we got in touch with the Downtown Orlando property. Their willingness to welcome my family in, as well as hundreds of other families due to this hurricane, left me stunned. Their staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was safe, comfortable and welcoming. The managers, Dane and Kevin, stopped at nothing to make sure all guests had everything they needed—I don’t think these men slept during the entire week. Mornings, afternoons and evenings these men and their staff were going the extra mile for the guests. My children always had something to do to keep them busy during the 2 days of hurricane lockup, and it was a blessing to see them so happy during this stressful time. The kitchen staff, specifically Eddie, Rafael, and Olaniyi were professional, friendly and so patient with not only my children, but every child stuck inside the hotel. I never saw a look of inconvenience or frustration…only smiles from this kitchen crew and always welcoming us with a “good morning” or “good evening.” I am blown away by the overall professionalism and courtesy from every one of these staff members, and it’s experiences like this that will keep me choosing Hilton for years to come. Thank you Embassy Suites Orlando Downtown!…
Room was spacious and clean. Not the most high-end ever, but more than adequate. I’m a bit of a breakfast snob and don’t love a regular buffet, but they have a chef making omelets to order, so that was a plus. We booked this hotel since we were seeing a show at the Amway Center. Wasn’t sure if we could walk or if we would take a short Uber ride, but we were able to walk with no issues. The area was lighted and lots of police presence. We also walked to dinner and bars. Would definitely stay here again if we come to see another show!
I am a Hilton Diamond member so I frequently stay in Hilton hotels. Several things happened which were very unpleasant not only the physical appearance but also front desk staff. Here is my list: The Hilton app does not indicate the hotel is being renovated but it is so there are areas of dirt, Sheetrock, ,etc. My folio in Hilton indicates I do not want a room near the elevators. I was assigned a room directly across from the elevators The room had the worst, strong odor that I could not identify. We had to request a room change which we were given, away from the elevator but with a moldy water stain on the ceiling in the living room area. We kept this room as it was now getting quite aggravating as there was no empathy from staff and we were tired. The pillows are horrible. They flatten easily and it was very uncomfortable Parking is self, in a lot across from the hotel. I couldn’t remove my car from the lot as the bar code from the hotel didn’t work as the front desk person insisted it would. It didn’t and she was quite rude. It took 2 trips for me to get my car as she finally gave me another bar code which worked. That was all she had to do instead of treating me like an idiot. But she didn’t. I would not stay at this hotel again.…
We stayed overnight at the Embassy Suites Orlando downtown for a concert at the Amway Center. All the staff was great, especially Shantelle and Giselle. They are extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. The hotel and room were very clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a pancake machine, waffle iron, breads, pastries, coffee, juices, scrambled eggs, dausage, bacon, and even made to order omelettes. I strongly recommend this hotel, and will stay here every time I'm in downtown Orlando. It's a great location.
The staff was great, however the parking should be better managed. I understand that they don't manage the parking lot, however that should be explained when booking. I will stay at another location from now on.
