We finally ventured out for the first time in nearly a year, to visit Florida, and I am so grateful that we chose this beautiful hotel. The rooms are gorgeous. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. And the safety standards are impressive. The golf course is first rate and the people are terrific. In short, I am so glad we came, and we can’t wait to return!
This hotel has many great reviews, but I think it's important to highlight the staff as they are the ones who make the hotel one of the finest in the world. Joseph at the front desk and Carman at the Concierge desk are exceptional individuals that took care of all our arrangements and activities. They went above the call of duty to make our stay feel like we were at home. I hope anybody visiting the Orlando area has the opportunity to enjoy the world-class pools and restaurants and outstanding staff.
This is our second time staying here, the service is nothing like the other ritz we’ve been to! We are titanium elite and didn’t give us any room upgrades or lounge access, everytime we come they always say they are at capacity! Customer service is bad! They also have unauthorized charged of $179 from a restaurant at JWMARRIOT that we haven’t been to. Not coming back anymore. Orlando Ritz sucks!
Was promised an upgrade, didn’t get it. Told I couldn’t get a roll away bed. Called on three separate occasions to get my car pulled up to the valet, didn’t happen. Hot tub closed. Back view closed off. This is more like the ritz cracker, don’t pay top notch price for but below average service.
We have been staying at this Ritz location since 2004. We have always stayed on the Club Floor with access to the Club Lounge. So we didn't hesitate to return during COVID when we had a chance to safely travel. We appreciate very much the Marriott mask requirements. Everything was very clean; hand sanitizer all around. The club lounge was temporarily moved to allow for refurbishing of the existing lounge area but the substitute area was very nice (other than no view) and it speaks well of the new ownership that they are using the low occupancy rates due to COVID as a good time to invest more into the hotel for capital improvements. Special thanks as always to Trish in the lounge (we missed seeing Jason until the very last day - glad he feels better), Nathan (who helped with out reservation and made sure we had a nice view since I would be in the room working some of the time) and mixologist Gregory. The food and drink offerings were delicious as always. We also visited our long time friend Susan in the salon (she has been cutting our hair since that first 2004 visit). Five stars all around. Our daughter has grown up staying here (even during the years we were visiting the Magic Kingdom - it is just a 20 minute drive) so it will always be a part of some very happy family memories (we appreciate how fortunate we are to be able to stay here and will continue to do so at every opportunity). New restaurant Knife and Spoon was also very good - the macaroni and cheese side is the best; the Caesar salad will feed 3-4 as a salad course; my wife and split a filet.…
