Amazing hotel, very clean and spacious rooms. The pools were great, always beds available and towels. Market / shop onsite was great and we found it reasonably priced. It offers freshly made sandwiches and pizza’s. €5/6 for a big slice and the sandwiches were great €12/14. In the bars it’s was about €9 for a beer. There is a publix within a 15 minute walk, we brought some snacks and beers from there, a box of 15 beers €16, and you could drink them outside on the seating or round the pool so saved us some money. We took an Uber to most places so not to have to worry about hire cars. iDrive has some great restaurants and is only €8 in an Uber. Can recommend Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden, Salt Grass Steak house, it also has a massive indoor arcade called Dave and Busters my son loved it while we could sit down for a beer if two. Tin Roof bar at iCon park was great. Cheap beer and live music. The only reason I didn’t give the hotel 5 stars, the hotel holds a lot of conferences and it can be busy with lots of adults rather then family (possibly why the pool is quiet) But this also means it can be a little noisy late at night. Quick shout to Ron at breakfast, super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

Currently staying at the hotel and have to say everything is of a high standard with very friendly and accommodating staff. Like others state upper level room gives lovely view out over the pools and lake. In particular would like to say a big thank you to Courtney in the Headwaters lounge, on our first evening she really engaged with us and her customer service was a credit to the hotel. Thank you.

We are staying here at the moment, having the best time ever. We are celebrating our daughters 21st birthday and our 21st wedding anniversary!! From the moment we checked in it's been superb. We have always stayed at Loewe's hotels previously. We think here is better. We requested adjoining rooms high-up, which is exactly what we got. Great view of the pools and golf course ...can see alligators in the lake !! ( At Loewe's requests never filtered through to reservations). We had breakfast here today.. amazing pancakes, great value. Food and pool service is a delight. Our rooms are massive, spotless and soooo comfortable. The beds, bedding and pillows are lovely. Thank you for Shingle Creek, we'll be sorry to leave on Wednesday...but we'll be back !!! The Carre Family xx

We had a great couple of weeks at the shingle creek. I had got in touch with the hotel beforehand and requested two rooms close together. It was great to be allocated a corner king and adjoining double queen on the 11th floor. The rooms are well equipped and housekeeping was fantastic- plenty of towels and high quality toiletries and the rooms were serviced daily. The public areas of the hotel were also spotless. The hotel has a number of dining options and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, the Mexican and the pool bar. We added access to the VIP concierge room for one night and was somewhat underwhelmed by this. I think we have been spoilt by the club rooms at the universal hotels! Whilst the coffee and soft drinks were good, things weren’t quite as we’d been informed previously. For example, no sweet treats later on in the evening. The pool areas were great and we spent most time by the cabana pool. The servers are so hardworking, constantly asking if you need anything. I do think more parasols are needed though. An area of disappointment for my husband was the golf. Access to the golf course was one of the main reasons that we chose this hotel and my husband had booked five rounds back on February. Only to be told on arrival that this course was virtually unplayable due to treating/aerating. I think it was very poor that this was not communicated in advance so that we could have looked into among other arrangements. My husband also said that the staff he spoke to at the course were quite disinterested and not at all helpful. Luckily, he was able to Uber easily to one of the Disney courses. I did make one of the hotel managers aware of our disappointment and he was lovely and organised a meal for us. The hotels location is great, not too far from anywhere and about ten dollars in an Uber to the main part of I drive. Opposite the hotel’s entrance is a shopping complex with a publix. We made several stops here to stock up on water and snacks as the marketplace at the hotel was very pricey. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to return.

Finally returned to Shingle Creek for the first time in three years. Some of the staff still remembered us which was lovely. Great hotel to be away from the theme park madness. Only down side is the hike from the car park to the hotel, however there is a golf buggy to rescue you if you catch it. Our must stay hotel when in Orlando. Very business and couples orientated, not really a kiddie hotel, which is great! :)

We loved our 7 night stay here. It’s a bit out of the way so a car came in handy, but it’s a cheap Uber ride to International Drive. They do shuttles to Universal but we were rarely in the hotel when the booking desk was open so this was a bit of a challenge! The room was clean and spacious, loads of parking and the pools were excellent. Huge range of food outlets for you to choose from and a convenient deli/shop but it’s expensive! The team were all excellent but a big shout out to Kim at the pool bar who was a star. Really attentive, remembered who we were and was a real credit to the hotel.

Had a 16 night stay in July. First time at the Rosen Shingle Creek. Will definitely return. There were 4 of us in 2 rooms. We requested via FB messenger a high floor, rooms close together and overlooking the pool if possible and they gave us exactly that. We were on the 9th floor and fairly central looking out over the pool and golf course. As others have mentioned - the room furnishings are what some might consider a little dated but we had no issue with that. The rooms were clean and housekeeping were in every day. No matter where we were in the hotel, the staff were excellent. We had included breakfast on our booking and it was a good start to the day. The buffet has pretty much everything you might want. There is a cooked area with Bacon, Sausage, scrambled egg, potatoes etc. There is an omelette bar where they prepare fresh omelettes, poached eggs, fried eggs, waffles, benedicts etc. There is an area with fresh fruit, yogurts etc. Another area with continental style breakfast items, cooked meats, eggs, cheeses, oatmeal. And there is a bread/pastries area with a toaster, honeycomb, bread, bagels, pastries, muffins etc. Plenty of choice that allowed us to mix it up a bit over the holiday. Staff at breakfast were all great but a special mention to Luigi. He was our server on the first day and several other days and had great local knowledge and woul dhave a chat here and there when able. All staff were great and we never had to ask for coffee or fresh juice refills. The marketplace is typical of a hotel and is mostly overpriced. It does quick service style food which was OK. We had a couple of pizza slices and a couple of sandwiches but didn't use it much. The ice cream was good. There is a publix just across from the entrance to the resort (probably about a 15-20 minute walk or a short uber) so recommend using that for bits and pieces for the room that would be very expensive in the marketplace. We had parking included in our booking and had a car for most of our stay. Self parking area isn't too far a walk - 5 or 10 minutes at the most and 10 only if it is really busy. You can also enter the hotel down at the conference area if the weather is bad and walk through the hotel to the reception. The golf course looked well maintained and we had a wander round it once or twice. (Look out for the big Sandhill Cranes that wander around as though they own the place :-) The other restaurant we used in the hotel was the Mexican and it was good. Especially the house Guacamole which is prepared table-side and was delicious. We used the bar a couple of evenings for a few drinks and it was good. Usual hotel prices for drinks of course. (There is a Millers Ale House on I-drive which is ~$10-12 Uber away if you want some cheaper beer and a better range). There is also a Beer/Burger restaurant, an Italian restaurant and a more upmarket Steakhouse style restaurant. (As well as bar food at the bar and pool bar) But we didn't try these. Location is decent - not too close to anything but if you are driving then Seaworld area and Universal area are fairly close. Pointe Orlando and Ikon park pretty close too. The hotel alternated between quiet and busy depending if there were any conferences on but it was never crazy busy when we were there. Overall I would thoroughly recommend the Rosen Shingle Creek and wouldn't hesitate to return. (Already looking for next year!)

My wife had a conference here, and she was nice enough to take me along! We only stayed here for 3 days, and I can honestly say that the hotel is very nice. The only bad things that I can say about this hotel, is that they do not have any shuttle services at all, and the fact that the sink in the room was too high! I'm 5'7" and had a hard time using it. The hotel is pretty close to everything close by, even if you have to take an Uber or Lyft to get around.

Hotel is lovely can’t fault it, location and room service also excellent (cleaners amazing), towels for the pool etc but this hotel has NO life at all, it’s a business and conference hotel, not really for holiday makers on the Florida adventure dream. When we visited there was a police convention on, had to park half a mile away from the hotel, no offer to help with our bags, no smiles to get us into a holiday vibe, tried to charge us for parking and extra beds that were included etc. Was nice dragging 4 heavy suit cases half a mile after a long flight ….. inc upto the room. (Thanks ) Didn’t feel like a nice place to be at all, almost like we was an inconvenience (sour faces and attitude staff behind the counters) and then when we checked out we had the rudest young lady ever with a massive chip on her shoulder (attitude galore ). My wife even sarcastically said “I’ll wish myself a nice day then”. Horrendous customer experience, in the U.K customer service is key, the main driver to any business. Big shame as the hotel is lovely like I say, but it’s too damn big and defo not for the Brit on a Disney/universal/Florida adventure. Thankfully when we moved to our 2nd hotel we was welcomed with a smile and help with our bags and the friendly staff there made everything perfect. Round up = amazing hotel and facilities (and good cleaners) but not for holiday makers sadly.

Stayed 4 days in this hotel. The service deserves 10 out of 10. The pools are amazing, the room is spacious and super clean. As an Expedia Gold member, I got a room upgrade. We came to Orlando to celebrate my son’s birthday. The hotel surprised him with a cake, a huge balloon and a card wishing him a happy birthday. The staff makes you feel royal. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel next time I’m in Orlando
