This hotel is not in most of the promotional materials for Orlando and the Universal theme park, but it is a great, budget-friendly option. Location is the primary virtue: this hotel is just a half-mile walk from Universal. In fact, the Loews Portofino Hotel (at Universal) is directly across the street. The main barrier is crossing over Kirkman Avenue, a...

If you are a big family with kids to entertain, you will probably want one of the resorts but if you're just there for a few days at Universal studios - this is the place to stay. Nice staff, good free breakfast (limited but substantial...it's not a resort), good places to eat in the area and a very informative concierge....

Great location for those going to universal, the shuttle was convenient and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed several nights, liked the breakfast and used the washer and dryer while we were there. The internet was helpful to plan our next days activities. 😁👍🌴🌴

Great location and rooms are clean and decorated very nicely. Beds are comfortable with a nice refrigerator and microwave ....Breakfast was more than enough and the coffee was...

We will never come here again. Shower didn't work right. The shuttle to universal wasn't where he said it would be and we had to walk back to the hotel. There were not many side walks. We tried to call the hotel, no answer. When we arrived back the front desk clerk was on the phone shopping. Unbelievable.

Basic clean room with frig, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast adequate, but sausage were gross sawdust links. There is a Golden Corral across parking lot with a great breakfast buffet as well as Walgreens Beds comfortable. Free Shuttle to parks at 8 and 10am with 2 evening pick ups. Pool was not heated and small. Staff was friendly and helpful!...

This is an older hotel, but we've stayed here every year for the past few years when visiting Universal Studios, and have not been disappointed. If you book ahead and use AAA discount if you have a membership, it's a good way to save some money (which then quickly disappears when transferring to a Disney hotel later in the week,...

Great value within walking distance for healthy people. Clean rooms with good breakfast. Roomy for 5. Nice bathroom, exceptionally helpful staff and concierge. Fitness room needs some attention - very small and stuffy.
