Great place to stay Zuleika at the front desk was really helpful and friendly, she help us with the check in process plus a lot of ideas of things to do around, nice swimming pool area with voley court and hydro massage, the restaurant and bar is next to the swimming pool and they have an arcade as well, the hotel is located in a perfect area for walking around, lots of restaurants and bars and games around the hotel.
Situated right in the heart of International drive, very close to the icon park wheel. This is your best bet in case if you are visiting Orlando for a short holiday break and want to be in the thick of all attractions. The rooms are pretty spacious and comes with all handy emenities like refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The double bedded room is good for a family of 4. They have a beautiful pool with separate beach volleyball area. Ther is plenty to do around the hotel and all within walking distance. Would come back especially for Zuleikha who was extremely helpful and made our stay so memorable. Thank you Zuleikha for your great service and hospitality.
Great service from Jourdan and Jeffrey at the bar! They make the atmosphere fun and have a very energetic personality. By far the best bar I’ve ever been to with the fun they provide Highly recommend this place! 10/10 absolutely recommend!
Genecis was very welcoming and helpful. She assisted us with our issues surrounding the toll pass (very confusing and we weren't sure if our car rental agreement includes the toll fees or not). She called the car rental for us and resolved the matter. She also assisted us with our room arrangements. She totally empathise with us and was very supportive. We really do appreciate Genecis's help. Thank you Genecis.
We have stayed here many times and this visit by far was the best. Jordan and Kevin at the bar are both amazing! Those are the employees that keep you coming back! The room, the pool and overall experience was great! We will definitely be back.
This place calls itself a resort but can’t even bring paper cups, coffee and clean towels to our room also don’t get me started on toilet rolls do not book it’s gone down hill big time which is really sad as we have been here before and it was excellent
Very disappointing. We did not get checked in till 5.50pm and even then housekeeping were still in our room. We looked out window into a brick wall which made room very dark. No pool towels available. To make coffee you had to unplug and move fridge! Smokers sitting outside rooms left cigarette butts and others left rubbish on walkways. We asked for adjoining rooms - told they didn’t do and we ended up one part of family in block 1 and the others in block 3. Could not let our grandchildren walk on their own over to grandparents room as they would have had to take lift on there own. Only good point was the location. We were in aDouble deluxe and sad to say there was nothing deluxe about it.
I have been coming here to this specific hotel for the past 15years. I have seen lots of changes and I am disappointed with Management. I have witnessed guest smoking INSIDE the pool as well as on the POOL DECK. There is NO STAFF monitoring or at the least walking around to make sure that the POOL RULES are being followed. Every rule on the sign has been broken and some staff members who are actually walking by the pool DO NOT SAY ANYTHING. Staff should work as a team to help enforce the rules for the entire hotel. Although I am ddisappointed with Management I do want to say that the best employee I came across is the bartender,Kevin Creamer. Kevin is behind the bar serving guests and is very vigilant at what is going on around the pool area. I WITNESSED KEVIN approach a guest that was smoking marijuana INSIDE the POOL while her friend was smoking INSIDE THE POOL and he managed to remove them from the pool. The guest gave Kevin a hard time and he informed the guest that she/he had to leave the pool area for the day as she/he disrespect him and cursing at him in another language. Staff should not have to put up with irate guest and I applaud Kevin for doing his job the correct way. Besides the cafe not having coffee the first couple of days and the fryer not working, the front desk young lady received me with a warm welcome and was able to accommodate me with a room that I requested after a gentleman lied to me and said that there were no rooms available on the first floor and no Handicap Rooms. This young lady took it upon herself to find me a room and I was greatly appreciated. So to give them my opinion here it is even tho it's just one. I think Management should have someone walking around monitoring the pool area and enforcing the rules. Coolers, Food, Smoking, kids diving adults diving, Its like an accident and a lawsuit waiting to happen. And finally, I dont think I will be coming back Next Year. Great Job Kevin Creamer nice meeting you.…
Really enjoyed our honeymoon at the Avanti international, however we were told we would receive our deposit when we checked out - this was around £100 and 2 and a half weeks later we still haven’t. Tried contacting the hotel but no response.
On the way to our room we noticed the grounds and stairways were very dirty, full of rubbish and cigarette ends. Our room was also dirty, very dated and stunk of drugs. We went back to reception and they moved us to block 2. This room was better but still not like the pictures on the website. Furniture is old, the skirting boards thick with dust, hair left in the shower plug hole from the last guests and the rooms are very noisy. You can hear everything in the joining room and the ac unit was really noisy, clicking on and off all night preventing you from getting a good nights sleep. Would not recommend this hotel.
