We camped here in our 5th wheel. The thing that surprised us was the view. Yes, a view. Who would think you'd have a forest view from your trailer at WDW? It was quiet. The bathrooms (comfort stations) were all with AC and clean. The laundry room was large, cool and newer machines (not cheap though). This is the only...

My family and I camped at Ft Wilderness during Spring Break of 2013 (late March) and we had an amazing time. First things first; it's Disney, so it's still going to be more expensive than a regular campground. However, this campground is very well run and kept, just like everything with the Disney stamp on it. The spots for campers...

Ok....First things first......It's Disney! The name alone means you will pay more for your site and everything else. Get past that and you're in for a truly special experience done the "Disney" way. We camped with our fully self contained popup trailer for eight days. Disney offers several different levels of campsites. We chose a premium site. The most money,...

For those looking to stay on Disney property on a budget, the campground and cabins are the way to go. It is still a bit on the pricey side, but there is quite a bit of unique features that the Resort and Campgrounds offers that is not available to the standard property hotel. We rented a cabin for our most...

We have stayed here twice with kids who still took naps. My boys wouldn't nap in a stroller so it was necessary for us to have a home base where they could nap. We stayed in the cabins and it was a perfect experience. There is a separate bedroom so the kids could nap while we hung out watching tv...

We traveled as a mixed family group for our first trip to Disney World; two seniors, one niece age 19 and two great nieces, 9 years old. We needed some space and some privacy in accommodations. Pros: The Cabins: Decent cabins, large, very well planned with a 12’x12’ bedroom at the rear that sleeps 4 on bunk beds and a...

What can you say, this is Disney, they got ya, and they know it. But if you're prepared well in advanced the sticker price won't be as shocking when you're there. We stayed in a premium site, 408. Close to the shuttle boat to Magic Kingdom. I noticed lots of empty spaces in several loops in the park, and some...

We have a 43 foot Winnebago Tour so the site we were put on was a little tight...but it worked. Be sure if in a larger RV you ask for a Premium site. The Campground was very clean, transportation very convenient around the park as well as to the Disney Parks. The park is really not pet friendly. We do...

We have been to Disneyworld about 15 times and we usually stay in the Beach Club Villas. This time we camped in our Travel Trailer at Fort Wilderness for 11 nights. This has got to be the best campground in the USA. The site was paved and we had electric, water, sewer, and cable. The sites are large and well...

7/29/2013 Disney Fort Wilderness Campgrounds Stayed at the campground for 5 nights while touring Disney. Originally, had planned on staying at another area CG, but changed our plans to be in-park. A great decision. There's many benefits to being in park including Disney Transportation and early park hours -- we took advantage of both. Disney provides transportation within the campground...
