Hotel's Favourite
Air Canada cancelled our flight in the middle of the night and moved it to the following day, so when we woke up in the morning, we had to scramble to find a place to stay. We decided to spend the extra and stay at the Hyatt since it is right in the airport. The hotel was beautiful and had a great rooftop pool where you could see airplanes taking off. We had booked the hotel at 9am, and we're able to check in at 11am when we arrived. The check in agent mentioned because I was a rewards club member, they would waive the early check in fee, so beware of that. However, I had only signed up for the rewards program that morning at the same time I booked the hotel, so it's worth signing up for just for that. Our room was really nice, big bed and tv, mini fridge etc, it also had a balcony that you couldn't access. The glass doors said they were locked for our safety.. so that was a little strange. Either way, we could look right down and see how long the security lines were, so for our early morning flight it was very convenient to be able to walk right from your room to the security line. We didn't eat at the restaurant, as it was a bit pricier, but it looked really nice. From the hotel you can access a food court with some fast food restaurants, and a bunch of last minute shopping. …

We stayed her one night before our cruise, and we also purchased a day pass stay after our cruise. Transport to and from the port was seamless. Staying within the airport was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Had to spend a night awaiting my wife’s arrival. Found the location (inside MCO) to be perfect as I didn’t want to travel back and forth from an outside hotel for no reason. Check in was seamless, room was ready early, and food/bar were great as well. Staff was friendly and pool was also nice for an overnight stay, I recommend this Hyatt for any stays where you need to be at or near the airport, very convenient!

We booked our room a couple weeks before our Disney trip. In the morning we checked in online and requested a noon early arrival time without expecting anything. We easily returned our rental car in Terminal B and walked across to the hotel which is literally in the centre of the airport! We could see how long the security line was from our bedroom window! Despite this we heard no airport noise either from people or planes. We spent the evening on the roof top pool where our kids had fun splashing with several other children. Easily found chairs under an umbrella. We had the first flight out in the morning and were out of our room around 4:30. I easily checked out on my phone. Splendid way to travel with young children and early flights!

while staying there, March 20 of 2023 and checking out March 21 while in the shower that morning got out and seen two things on the floor moving around turned out to be cockroaches I killed one the other one got away and I couldn’t find where it went, but Kinda not happy about that Let the receptionist know where the front desk in the morning and we’re supposed to hear back and never did. .

After arriving from PR at MCO and having an early morning flight the next day, it made good sense for use to utilize this hotel. It was pricey for our taste and budget. But once we arrived discovered that it was well worth the money spent. If we are ever at MCO on an overnight layover we will be happy to utilize this hotel again. Too pricey for us to stay longer but excellent for our needs.

TV service needs to improve. Especially the remote is not convenient to use. Also the food service is not available after 10 PM, which needs to be flexible. Especially when you are in airport for travelling in odd hours.

My wife and I have been doing this for years. We book very early flights out of MCO; early enough to avoid lines and delays. Then we arrive at the airport the afternoon before, letting go of our rental car a day early. We check into the Hyatt where the rooms are large, with a balcony overlooking the airport and many thoughtful touches like, the thing most hotels lack, nightlights! Sometimes it’s the little things, y’know? We have dinner at McCoy’s, right there in the Hyatt. It never disappoints. As a matter of fact, it’s really good! And not “Airport Expensive” either. Then, the next morning, it’s just an elevator ride down to the airside! So much easier than arriving in a hurry the next day, losing the rental car, dealing with long TSA lines and getting to the gate on time for a flight that might just be delayed. It’s a good trick.…

Not up to Hyatt expectations in Several areas of maintenance and service. Room door exceptionally difficult to open from either side. There are many other hotel options available near the Orlando Airport and I will try one of them on my next trip.
