Management is good, they will work with you if you have a problem however, even though they offered me a discount on my room once we were there, we would have preferred the actual situation be resolved which was out of their control unfortunately. The property is owned by a company that controls the courtyard and surrounding restaurants. In December and maybe around other holidays(?) there is a full concert stage set up a couple hundred feet from the hotel windows, and a full fledged concert speaker system. The music and singing, and 10 person dancing team was so loud, you could not go into any room in the suite including the bathroom or closet to get away from it. So loud we could not use the television or talk on the phone. IT WAS LITERALLY SURROUND SOUND IN THE ROOM, AND DOWN THE HALLWAYS. She told me the company controls (or the city controls) the noise. I am shocked there is no city ordinance against concerts right outside hotel rooms, literally. Additionally, concert went on every single night from 6pm-9pm .. Did not miss one night out of 5 nights we were there. Additionally, it is close to the airport so we had to listen to flights going constantly on top of it. I was trying to get work done, and it was impossible. I finally went for a ride to get a break because the concert was non stop. There is a parking garage where hotel patrons are forced to park, which is unfortunately shared with all the surrounding restaurants and people attending the concert. It was impossible to find parking with people circling and waiting the minute someone's lights came on. Would not reccomend at all for a solo traveler, work traveler, family, you cannot get work done, sleep, or even THINK in this place. It was utter hell. Hopefully the hotel does some major campaigning with the company in charge of these concerts and for the sake of the people they are charging money to, reduces the amount of noise as this is just unbelievable when you are in the room.

Just spent a little over 5 months at this amazing place while in the Orlando area. From start to end, our stay was fantastic! John and his staff treated us like family the entire time we were staying here! I want to give a shoutout to Damaris, Edni, Charlie, Alex, and Ryan at the front desk. They all were so friendly and always made us feel welcome throughout our stay! Connie, the director of sales was also super super friendly. She provided amazing hospitality throughout our entire stay. Thank you Connie for everything! All the staff were also wearing masks at all times!! We stayed two rooms, one of the 5th floor, the other on the 7th floor, 530 and 727. Both rooms were studios. They were super spacious and spotless. Both rooms had absolutely no musty smells or odors. Housekeeping service was beyond amazing. Due to covid, you had to preschedule when you wanted service. That wasn’t really an issue, but every single time they would clean the room, they did it right every time!! All of the housekeepers I’ve encountered were super friendly and provided amazing hospitality. Unfortunately during our stay there were a ton of anti-maskers staying at this hotel, but this mainly occurred on the weekends. On a positive note, the staff did the best they could to enforce masking. Would I stay here again? Yes, 100% in a heartbeat!! The location is very central to all the parts of Orlando. Only 10 mins to the airport, 25 mins to the theme parks, and is in the heart of downtown Lake Nona! To the whole staff of this hotel, thank you for everything!! We cannot wait to return to this hotel. :)

We were in town for the American Athletic Conference collegiate tennis tournament championships held at the USTA National Campus. The campus is mere five minute drive from the hotel, so it was a perfect location for us. The hotel seems relatively new, and it was clean throughout. Staff always wore masks correctly as far as what we could see. The "reduced" breakfast options really just meant that they served you. You still could get hot scrambled eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes as well as a number of cold options. From a location perspective for us, it was excellent. Two fabulous restaurants are hundreds of feet away which is also excellent. The staff was very nice; again excellent. This review doesn't give them a five-star rating for maintenance purposes. The electronic curtains in our suite did not operate. We complained to the hotel staff who said they would send someone to our room. We waited over an hour, and no one ever came. If they came later, they did nothing to fix the electronic window curtains. The microwave had a broken leg, so it rested at an angle in the kitchenette. Even a lessor skilled handyman could fashion a replacement leg to allow the microwave to sit level. Instead, they had a folded paper towel prop it up a bit. The caulk around the toilet in the bathroom looked like it was done by an eighth grader - very wide and messy. All that being said, we would return, because the location is perfect for visiting the USTA National Campus.

Overall, I rate this Residence Inn location a 4 out of 5. The good: Exceptionally clean and modern feeling. There are 3 nice (pricey) restaurants in walking distance. Safe area. Friendly staff. Free to-go breakfast during Covid. Quiet. The bad: You have to drive 15-30 minutes to get to other areas with restaurants or anything to do. This area felt boring. There is a design flaw with shower and no matter what you do, water floods bathroom floor (the showers do not have doors). Overall, a pretty good stay. This is a great option for a quick stayover or if you are in Orlando for business. The staff was very nice. I would not stay here if I were in town for tourism.

Courtyard/Residence Inn @ Lake Nona is hands-down one of my favorite Marriott-brand locations in the Orlando area. I’ve stayed here several times over the years. Always impeccably clean and well-maintained. Their breakfast options are superior to the other Orlando-area locations (including iced coffee - yay!). Also, during the COVID19 pandemic, their service provisions were the most well-thought out amongst locations. I stayed at other Courtyards in the central Florida area during the pandemic and the Lake Nona location was by far the best in experience. Great front desk staff & managers!

I was on a road trip, relocating from LA to Miami, with my 2 cats. This hotel was perfect. They are doing everything right re Covid-19 guidelines (unlike some of the other Marriott run properties I stayed at along the way). The staff were very nice. The room was so good! Huge, separate living and bedroom, full kitchen, nice bathroom. Breakfast is included and they are doing it as a grab n go so there is no communal dining or anything risky. HIghly recommended!

Loved it!! We were visiting an elderly family member to do some house repairs for her and this was a GREAT stay! Full kitchen, pool, fitness room AND a great breakfast we would take back to our room. Other hotels, even though they advertise breakfast are either NOT doing anything during the Covid issue OR it’s a snack bar and maybe a cold breakfast burrito you heat up in the microwave. These nice folks cooked everything, had it all in small containers to keep it non contact and even had fresh fruit in cups. Great setup, comfortable beds and we enjoyed ourselves!! THANK YOU!!
