Our time here was quite enjoyable. The hotel is in decent nick, and it is conveniently placed on International Drive with bus access to various attractions, parks, outlet malls, and a variety of restaurants. The biggest gripe would be with some of the hotel amenities: the ATM was out of order the entire time, and the laundry was not in...

We stayed at the Monumental Hotel for our quick Theme Park Trip (Aquatica, Sea World, and Universal Studios) June 2 - 6, 2012. The resort is tucked away at the quiet end of International drive just past Sea World (We could see the tall Seaworld Tower from our room window. This is the pretty quiet end of I-Drive. We really...

Just visited for a night. I knew that it was a former high end hotel but its going to rot quickly. You see the outside and think Rennaissance Hotel. I've spent over 600 nights in hotels for work and leisure and this was an embarrassment. I check in and go to the bathroom and realize not only is their no...

This hotel's rating was not close to my experience. . . . 1) To enter the hotel, you need to park VERY far away, and walk in. For the handicapped or older persons, not a great experience. 2). Hotel only has enough towels for their rooms. When they removed the towels from my room, I had to call down and...

When we arrived in our first room, the air didn't work. When we informed the front desk they indicated that the air conditioner was "eco friendly" and movement in the room will trigger the AC to cool down. They did, however, send an "engineer" to check on it. After several attempts to fix it, he contacted another person who came...

There is an I RIDE bus stop right outside so its easy to get to all the major attractions and its a nice quiet location. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is decent. The pool is very nice and the place is clean and well kept. The gym is very small and basic and the treadmill...

Place looks pretty from a distance. And it's close to Disney, Sea World and the airport. But... The check-in desk is a far walk from the parking lot and not easy to find. Service is generally apathetic. The flower beds are full of weeds, the shower has mildew, the toilet paper hook kept falling off the wall. The A/C unit...

This is a quite and clean hotel to stay in. Our rooms were nice and the staff was always courteous and helpful. The interesting things about the hotel are the check in. They have a drop off area no where close to the front desk and you have to walk a bit to check in. The hotel is in a...

For the standard in Florida, this was the best so far, room was cleaned Daily, reception staff helpful, pineapple grill can be expensive! Good location for premium outlets, and getting buses to Disney is a easy, we have Wi-Fi in the room at 212. Whereby other reviews complain of not having it, would use this hotel again....

Not the Peabody but just down the road, not Wilderness Lodge but within two miles. Spartin Luxury would get it about right. The staff is fantastic, Roberta was espeically helpful! A Micro wave would be helpful but not a show stopper. The price is about as good as it gets for the area and quality. It is NOT a place...
