Great service. Location right next to i4 so it’s easy to find. The front desk clerk was very kind and helpful. Security is on point at night, so it makes you feel at ease. The housekeeping is friendly and did not mind giving extra towels.
Front desk staff excellent! I travel often and I love when I can arrive to a location and my transitions are seamless. I would recommend this location for business professionals with unexpected layovers in the Orlando area.
Book this hotel because of the convenience it offered my family and I. Being that the Florida Mall is within walking distance and great restaurants around. I made a mistake online getting my reservation under the wrong dates. I felt extremely embarrassed as I went inside to check-in. A front desk rep named Dashia (hopefully I'm spelling it right) relieved so much of my stress; I thought my family and I were not going to have anywhere to stay but fixed my issue with ease. We had the best laugh from it. I love to give reviews when you meet someone worth giving it to. Dashia, sweetheart if you can see this in any way you are doing an amazing job and God will bless you in so many ways.
We stayed here 5 years ago and it was ok as we really only spent sleeping there, this time it was no where near the standards so much so we checked out 8 days early it was that bad, the area at night is a real no go zone for females of any age, it is cheap to stay there yes but not for us !
We stayed here in a clean affordable room with our canine family and the staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. We will stay here again when we are traveling in the area. Thank you everyone you ROCK !
We booked a King Room with Jacuzzi bath. The night before we stayed at the Red Roof near Icon Park, which is MUCH cleaner and nicer than this location and that isn't saying much. The area around this location is not a great area. There seemed to be a good amount of prostitutes working the street in front of the hotel. When walking to our room after check in, we noticed a good amount of people either sitting in their rooms with their doors open watching people walk by and a good amount of people sitting adjacent to the pool in a "smoking area", and yes-you have to walk through clouds of smoke to get to your room. Once in our room, we were immediately hit by the smell of smoke inside. (guess someone didn't make it to the smoking area) and a professional ozone machine set up running to remove smoke. The problem is, it clearly says operate only in unoccupied rooms but they left it running in our room without any care for their guests. We turned it off and had to suffer through the heavy smell. If the hotel thought that was strong enough odor to use machines, why did they rent the room out? The floor had not been cleaned. There was still urine stains on the floor from the last dog in the room. We took wet towels to clean the area and they just turned black with dirt. Really filthy. Like someone else said below, the dog walk was unusable because it had dog waste everywhere. If it wasn't for the fact that every hotel ended up being booked that weekend for a cheerleading competition, we would've left. So to sum it up...if you like hookers, dog waste, smoke and filth, you will love your stay. Otherwise, look to a different Red Roof. This is the worst one I have ever stayed in, and we use the brand frequently.…
My husband and I booked this hotel for MegaCon. We were happy to know it's not very far from the Orange County Convention Center and very close to restaurants and two different Walmarts. The hotel does not have enough parking for all the rooms available. Every night that we came back to the hotel, it was a struggle to find parking. One night I had to park in the curbway to the office. The room itself was just what we needed: king sized bed, tv, hot water, good pressure in the shower, a fridge and a microwave. The tv had closed caption on it that we couldn't remove because the remove was a universal and not the brand for the tv itself. The only real noise we had was one afternoon when the workmen were working on a room above us to the right. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and I felt very safe here.…
Literally my favorite place to stay in all of Orlando. Clean Rooms, Excellent service and an amazing Manager name Shawna. The staff is so polite and accommodating which makes you feel right at home! The property is safe and well maintained and the perfect spot for a nice, relaxing stay!!
Appreciate the assistance from Albert and chante. Florida mall being right across the street was a great convenience. Rooms smelled fresh. Pool was nice and clean. The help from your staff i deeply appreciate! We will be back again!
Convenient/affordable location. The staff was friendly and always seemed to be busy working. King spa room was a mix of outdated and newly remodeled. The coil spring bed was tolerable for one night but rather soft and lumpy. Although it seemed like the jets had recently been replaced, the heavily scratched condition of the tub walls and the nicotine stained surface of 1980's rose colored faux marble tub and surround was not reassuring enough to find out if it even worked. Realizing that the white stains on the shower curtain were actually caulk from the recent and very good caulk job was a relief. They have great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Many metal items were rusty from Florida's humidity. Clean; except the floors. The safe wouldn't work. Well lit exterior at night... for a reason. There are drug dealers/drug users and prostitutes in the area, but they keep their activities mostly on the street/front sidewalk. This location is completely inappropriate for children. Some people might not like to smell marijuana every time they leave the room. Others will feel like they are in Jamaica. The very small pool looked very nice and clean, but the weekly renters and activity made the area uncomfortable. Dog walk: absolutely not usable and a serious health hazzard to patrons and their dogs. No one is maintaining the dog walk right now and it is literally and completely impossible to avoid the dog waste. Do not even walk into or near the dog walk area; go the opposite direction. The dog walk situation was an unexpected surprise considering the 'pet friendly' platform they use when they advertise. There is an audible beeping alarm from a neighboring business that will likely go off all night. Hours were spent trying to find a last minute, affordable, and suitable accomodations in Orlando and I feel that this location meet our under $200 want, needs and expectations at the time. Though I will likely plan better in the future, this was pretty good in a pinch for a one night situation. Unfortunately, I will likely spend more money at a better location in the future.…
