We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. We arrived from out of state at 1pm but check in at 3pm. We were able to check in early because our room was ready. Everything was beautiful, clean, safe, and quiet. The staff Was very friendly. They cleaned our room every single day and you could smell the disinfectant. By Friday the whole hotel was booked. The front desk manager was very helpful. Shower head has multiple water speeds great for cleaning off sand. Staff gave us multiple new towels each day. Everything fun is about 20 minutes from the hotel, but the scenery is beautiful so no worries. Thank you Red Roof for the great experience. P.S we stayed during Labor Day weekend and had no problems

Quiet,clean, comfortable hotel. The lobby was spotless, masks were being worn, the room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy, the water in the shower was hot and the water pressure was perfect. My expectations were exceeded and the price wasn’t bad even during Thunder Beach weekend. The gentleman who worked over night was so kind and so was the gentleman who checked me out. I’ll definitely be back. The GM, Ron, is a true gem.

This has been my home away from home for the past couple months while in town for work. Friendliest staff of any red roof I’ve stayed at, rooms are clean and comfortable beds, nice and quiet even when fully booked. Only suggestion I would give the owners is to ditch Direct TV and upgrade the TVs to WOW or COX so the TVs don’t lose signal during storms.

My sister and I spent a quick trip to Florida to visit our cousin in Lynn Haven FL, this was the only motel available so we took the chance, our first mistake. This motel is a place that needs a renovation so bad. It was filled with construction workers, who were drinking in the parking lot by their vehicles. The pool is a joke, no sitting areas. The benches by the doors were filled with smokers all the time. Our toilet seat was broken, (um housekeeping did not see it when they cleaned before us) and our floor was sticky. The bathroom is so tiny it has a toilet, and a tub, that's it. No place to hang anything, the sink is outside the bathroom, and again you can't even hang a hand towel up. The soap they provide, is like a "lava" soap, which sounds right as most of the customers are construction people. When we had the toilet seat fixed, we flushed the toilet and BLACK water came into the toilet, makes you feel good hey? The "free" breakfast area is horrible, the coffee was like disgusting, my sister had to go to McDonalds every morning. The only selection of fruit was a banana. If you absolutely have to stay in this crappy place, I will advise you to get a room on the third floor, as the ceilings are paper thin and you hear everything from above. And again, I did not feel safe at all.

When I was notified of your review with the very alarming title I immediately had to see what could have happened on property to make it unsafe. I would urge you to please contact me at the property to discuss as I do not see the incident of safety in your review. I do have to say I am very saddened by the other items in your review as well. We do not want anyone to have such an uncomfortable stay that is alarmingly different from our usual experience. This is a well maintained well managed hotel. The room and everything about it was clean and nice. All of the staff from the housekeepers to the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Two in particular, Ron the manager, and John who takes care of the late night shift "went the extra mile" in making sure everything I needed was taken care of. They are obviously consummate professionals. This is a great place to stay.

Housekeeping may or may not service your room. You tell them you need room service; they will say okay and still don't service your room. The front desk guy (Dave) lies to cover the fact that much of the staff including himself, is well below any reasonable standard of professionalism and does not accept responsibility, but instead, makes the customer wrong by flipping anything you say back onto you, as a liar or that it is your responsibility to clean your own room. One lady is fairly good, but half cleans. I actually had to clean the glass cooktop because it was crusted with food spills prior to ever using it. The hotel has roaches but at a glance it looks nice and comfortable. The staff acts nice until you have a request or encounter staff that did not do their job.

I do know our staff should clean properly and staff should respond properly when comments are made or assistance is needed. As a guest you deserve better and we clearly failed you. I was very impressed with how nice and clean the rooms were! We had a room with a kitchenette, and it was perfect for our extended stay. The staff is the best! Ron in management was super helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made us feel like we mattered. That quality is sadly hard to find these days. I would recommend The Red Roof Inn to anyone needing lodging for any type and length of stay. There is something for every type of guest! I don't typically write reviews, but I was so impressed, I had to recognize The Red Roof Inn for making my stay the best it could be. 5 stars!

My company comes to Panama City monthly for work, and I always book rooms at the Red Roof Inn Panama City. Their staff is so helpful and accommodating. The newly renovated property is very nice, all the rooms are clean and fresh. The entire property has been renovated and is quite lovely for the price range. I always get very positive feed back from my coworkers and it is their first choice of property to stay at due to the location, the accommodations and great customer service.

We stayed at the Red Roof in Panama City on Hwy 231, May 20th and 21st. Everyone; the manager, front desk and housekeepers were so helpful and welcoming. The room was immaculate, the pool area well maintained and secure. They provided a nice continental breakfast of fresh fruits, juices, drinks and pastries, with a charming seating area in which to enjoy it. Also had a small gym with a variety of cardio equipment. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a safe, friendly place to stay in Panama.

Great stay, clean, bug free & nicely appointed king room! The pet stay free policy is fantastic for those who have four leg family members! I hope other pet owners will clean-up after and control their animals. Free breakfast was basic carbs, yogurt & coffee. King bed was very comfortable.

All of the rooms at Red Roof Inn are inside corridor rooms. We have 3 floors and an elevator - Handicap rooms are available on floor 1 and 2 . They are easy to enter.
