Very friendly and accommodating front desk reception staff. Over-the-top breakfast, coffee was delicious, omelets, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit were fresh.

Room 105 was excellent and clean, that a tribute to the awesome job that Ms. Valerie, Leona and paola and her staff does. If anything needed it is taken care of instantly. The above staff is very professional, always polite, and greet me with a smile. The positive energy they exhibit resonate to the guest.

Leona at the front desk has tremendous customer service. She was very kind of made my stay so comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place. And the pillows and the amenities were very appreciative . Love cooking on the grill feeling like I have a true home

Was very upset with the stay at the TownePlace and suites. We stayed 6 days and the room was cleaned, if you can call it that, once. Meaning the towels were replaced and half the trash was removed. The floor wasn’t vacuumed the entire stay and had grass/dirt visible you could feel on your feet while walking. Sheets were never made or replaced the entire stay. My wife and I had to call for towels and toilet paper due to the lack of care for the room by the staff. Also construction going on at 0700 outside our window. Asked management if our room could be switched/moved to the pier park Townplace and suites. Was told “call corporate”. Please don’t make the same mistake we made, spend your money elsewhere.

Was upgraded to a suite which was awesome, but there was never any maintenance outside. The pool was filthy - not even usable, debris everywhere around the outside. They put 3 tables by the grill around the pool and made this the smoking area!! Are you kidding me? who wants to sit by the pool where all the smoking is going on. Several entrances the key reader was broken and customers were pulling the walk off mats to block the door open which makes it difficult to get your bags over the rugs and is totally not safe at night. What is the point of having readers at all?? Was told by another customer they asked for 3 weeks to fix the reader and it was never done. The stove in the room was filthy in the pans under the burner and when the stove top was used it made smoke all over the kitchen, the dishwasher when the racks were pulled over was not screwed into the counter and it had to be held onto so it did not fall out onto the floor. Stains on furniture in living area. So sad as I am a Marriott Platinum Elite and will not be staying here again.

Dear ds773OQT, For myself and the entire team here at Towneplace Suites Panama City sincerely apologizes for falling short not just yours but our expectation as well. The area around the grill with table and chairs is a Non-smoking area for our guest to enjoy grilling if they wish we tend to have guest to ignore the Non-smoking signs posted on the walls. You have pointed out some very valuable concerns the hotel have at this time. But, I can assure you we are working on getting back to the standards that is expected. I have shared your concerns in our everyday huddle meeting and with department heads to make sure we are taking care of every guest everyday . Again, please accept our apology and If your travels brings you back to Panama City you will give us another change. Management team.

Were do start? Let me say that the hotel was nice. I had a 4 day stay at Town Suites Panama City FL. My wife has been stuck in the house since March so I though this would be great, most of it is during the week, and the kids are in school. We get there on Wed with no problems. No problems Thursday or Friday morning. Friday afternoon and Sat morning all hell breaks loose and no one is wearing a mask. The hotel had a girls teenage baseball tournament going on and kids and parents did not have mask! Grant it there are signs on the door, the website says that mask are required! This is the reason for picking this hotel as myself and wife had not been anywhere because of the COVID-19. So I hear the end of the conversation where a lady with a mask ask Clay Walker(Suppose to be Gen-manager) about people wearing mask, his response rudely, was I can't make them wear them. At that point me nor my wife felt uncomfortable. I then ask my self about the mask policy and was also told rudely that he could not make them wear mask. That only the staff was required to wear them. Now before I talked the this so called Gen-Manager, I saw a cleaning staff lady to ask were was the manager and she nor did I see any cleaning staff with a mask on. Once I asked her about wearing mask she hurried and went in the back to get one. I told the manager I was checking out, as I did that day. Marriott hotels lie about requiring people to wear mask! Once you get there you are stuck. So beware that Marriott is not as safe as they want you to believe. Trip ruined.

This is a very nice, clean and modern property at reasonable rates close to the Panama City Pier Park. Family friendly and good for a shorter stay. Probably not for longer than a few days.
The only glitch when we stayed was that the Marriott Food Truck, which delivers supplies, was several days late in bringing the milk for breakfast. Hence no reasonable cereal options for the kids. Explain that to the little ones! After asking the Front Desk Manager, I was informed that Corporate Marriott wouldn't allow them to outsource milk from the grocery store, as it must be packaged in small containers. Fair enough, but the regional corporate manager should have done better at this situation.
I'd like to commend some staff at the hotel, including Shena in housekeeping, who is trying her best to make sure everything is in order. Really a sweet lady and very friendly. Thank you Shena! Day time Desk Manager was clear about Marriott corporate policies regarding food delivery and told me she had ordered Thursday. Today is Saturday morning at 10:00am and still no food supplies. Not a big deal, just enough of a niggle to bug me.
And Cody at the Front Desk was helpful and I wish him success. Great job, Cody!
Also, another housekeeping person knocked and didn't even try to speak English and explain what he wanted. Fortunately, I speak Spanish but found that inability to communicate properly a rather weak link in management. Maybe it's just the time of "not enough help" all around.
All in all, a good property and I highly recommend.

There were several things about our stay here that were bothersome: 1) it is in an area that doesn't feel safe; 2) the customer service people behind the counter were not friendly or helpful; 3) the biggest issue, though, had to do with the $120.00 non-refundable pet charge. We booked through hotels.com and indicated we were traveling with a pet (we booked 5 hotels at the same time). At no point were we informed by hotels.com or by Townhouse Suites that there would be an additional fee over the cost of the quoted hotel room fee. When I disputed the fee, the manager only showed that their website indicated that there was a non-refundable pet fee, to which I showed her hotels.com website where there was no such indication. We ended up paying $300 for one night at a second-rate hotel.

I stayed here on vacation with my family, This place is amazing the staff goes above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay during our time here. Leona at the front desk met a us with a welcoming smile and we felt comfortable right away. The rooms are spacious and clean they also had everything in there we needed, breakfast was good, We had a amazing first trip to Florida and we will definitely be back.

I had an amazing experience staying at the TownePlace suite, the location is perfect, close to everything. Breakfast was really great; they had a variety of choices to pick from. Front desk staff was very helpful with accommodating my needs, Miss Leona and Mrs. Maricel were excellent and very friendly. Overall Great stay will definitely be back my next trip.

Saint Andrews State Park beaches are 30 minutes or 12 miles (a lot of stop lights). There are many additional beaches further west in the Panama City Beach area. Another option to the east is Mexico Beach which is 45 minutes or 28 miles from this hotel.
There were bars, but they just looked like local hang out. If you really looking for fun you need to be closer to the beach. If you just want a drink the Courtyard by Marriott which located in the parking lot has a bar that guest from TownePlace Suites busy are welcome.
