What impressed me the most is the associate at the front desk the night we checked in was extremely knowledgeable about the Hilton Honors program, explained to me how I can get the MyWay offerings. Welcoming and courteous despite the hour of the day. The room was spotless, the associates we encountered the following morning in the hallways and at breakfast were reaching out to be helpful. The hospitality is on full display this this hotel.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the gym (we did not use) looked to be top - notch with new equipment and the outdoor pool was larger that the average airport hotel. Great Stay! Thank you!

My stay was an evacuation for Hurricane Ida. I was traveling alone with two kids and two dogs in tow. The hotel and its staff exceeded all of my expectations. I felt safe and comfortable. It’s amazing how clean the hotel was considering the number of 4 legged guests. The airport location requires a short drive to restaurants and stores, but that’s what made it nice for traveling with pets. There was lots of green space for walking the dogs. My kids loved it, too. The pool area is very nice. If I had to give constructive criticism, I’d note the lack of stairs accessible from the lobby.

First if you want to be close to a body of water - the pool is as close as you are going to get. However if you need to be close to airport and want to stay at a clean and safe hotel, this is it! Secondly the entire staff is welcoming and helpful. Finally and most importantly, the rooms are super clean, quite and spacious.
Now if you need to get workout in during your stay the fitness center is spotless and has everything a local gym would have - even have a new Peloton!
I travel for my work and 95% of my stays are with Marriott but this Hilton Garden Inn has left an impression.

Hotel is new, so everything is in great shape. Clean, modern, nicely appointed.
Would not stay again until they get the problems fixed:
Desk computers crash frequently,
couldn’t even print receipts or check room availability
Wall A/C units look and sound dated, very loud and strange noises all night long.
Cannot use cell phone in rooms/hotel. Poor reception. Desk asked me to “ step outside” to get emailed receipt. Showed up in a few mins. This can be addressed.
Night manager, Art, is best asset this property currently has to offer.
One more remark,,the sound proofing between rooms is pitiful. I could hear next door room TV clearly.
Great location for airport accessibility. Have shuttle bus.
Once they work out issues,,this will be a fine addition to the Hilton Garden Inn chain.

We had to stay unexpectedly due to deteriorating flying weather. The hotel is very convenient to the airport. Great shuttle services.
My first impression was that the hotel is clean, and open, and a real effort was made to make the lobby and dining areas luxurious and comfortable. A place to hang out during your stay.
All of the personnel, from the desk staff to bar and restaurant staff to room staff and facilities staff do a great job making you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive until the time that you leave.
The room was very clean. No negatives. The window had a good blackout curtain. Television had great access to live TV and streaming services. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the linens were crispy clean. The bathroom towels were clean and not worn out. The cleansing solutions in the shower and bathroom were plentiful. There is a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a pod machine for coffee and tea in the room.
Overall, the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. It is obvious that the Staff takes great pride in their work. Kudos to them all!

Failure.! We were weary travelers. This lodging made our travels worse. We called before we booked to make sure they had early morning shuttle service. We called again several hours before our arrival at this place to make sure there would be availability to take the shuttle to the airport. We were told that there was plenty of room on the shuttle. When we arrived, I clearly stated that we needed the earliest shuttle to the airport the next morning and was told that it would be no problem. At about 9pm, as we were trying to sleep, we were told there was no room on the shuttle and we would have to take the later shuttle which would have jeopardized our flights home. Do not trust this place, their staff and the shuttle. Plan to spend $60 to get to the airport. Other issues with this place (not a hotel) include the heating and a/c. We roasted, then froze, then roasted and then froze. They left hair in the showers and sinks and the beds are only marginal so plan on not sleeping at all.

The 430am shuttle is one of our popular times as the airport opens at 430am and I am so sorry that the original sign-up sheet was full. As we are so close to the airport we usually add another run immediately following the 1st one, but I know it is frustrating to endure the delay. This hotel is very nice, and the staff was accommodating. The morning front desk clerk greeted us by name, and helped when our son got sick during our stay. The restaurant staff exceeded our expectations with service and the food. Our server was “Q”, and the chefs even cooked for our starving toddlers during their break. I forgot the chefs’ names, but they are friendly and experienced. The housekeeping staff held conversations with us and was friendly. We’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels (mostly Hilton) in various countries, but this stay was the best one. It’s far away from everything, but the pool and amenities kept us busy while it was raining.

My team was traveling and supposed to meet at the airport in Panama City. I arrived a day early to conduct some additional training. The weather had other plans for my other two presenters -- their flights were substantially delayed and then a thunderstorm moved over the airport and one was stranded onboard for more than 2 hours. Meanwhile, the wonderful hotel staff allowed me to use a small meeting area to conduct a webinar (telling me the internet would be better than the room) then they fed one of my other presenters when she arrived rather frazzled after a number of delays. I would have rated them 10 stars if I could and if I ever get back to this area, this is THE hotel one should find. Extremely clean, outstanding staff, fantastic customer service (above and beyond). Thank you for making what could have been a terrible trip something to talk about!

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at the airport because I wanted to avoid the spring break activity near the beach. I regularly stay at Hilton properties, so I expect a good experience. With that said, am so impressed with this hotel! Parking is a breeze (and complimentary), the lobby area is welcoming, the room is great (especially the shower), the breakfast was delicious, and the employees could not have been friendlier. A special shout out to Leanna at the front desk who helped me print out my presentation tonight (for tomorrow morning’s meeting) when the regular printer was low on toner. I now know where I’ll be staying when I come back to Panama City Beach again!
