Nice Staff but the first room we checked into spelled like Fabuloso trying to cover up marijuana My mother in Law has asthma and so there is no way we could stay in the original room. We could somewhat smell marijuana our entire stay. I don’t think smoking rooms should be mixed amongst non smoking rooms. Also the trash can out side was overflowing and never dumped our 2 days we were there. Our room didn’t have a shower head. But they quickly put one on when we brought it to there attention. It would be nice if the hotels that says they offer breakfast would mention it before our booking or at least offer some fruit or something as a grab and go item. I know so many things have changed because of the Virus. I feel this hotel was over priced for what it offered.

Roaches and noise. This was a below average room with the bare minimum of amenities. My confirmed booking price was NOT honored from the Wyndham website. A confirmation number was provided. The clerk acted as if I did NOT know what I was talking about. VERY disappointed with this booking and will NEVER do so again. Caveat Emptor!

Front desk check in was pleasant and fast. Nite crew didn't care about noise, which just so happened to be behind the front desk. Slamming doors and fighting could not be called about since the phone did not work. We did report all of this the next mirning.

We stayed at the microtel Panama City for six days commencing 9th April. On check in staff seemed disinterested but room on ground floor was ready. Immediately noticed bath was half full with water due to a leaking faucet. Air conditioner was very noisy and room was unpleasant smelling. Breakfast next day consisted of cereal or fruit, no hot food on offer. The ice maker was broken and a sign instructs you to go to the second floor for ice. I wanted toast but could not find the butter and was told it was not offered. It was obvious that a lot of workmen use this motel. I asked the manager to do something about the aircon in the room above us as it was like having a truck in your room. She just stared at me and nothing was done about it. The worker staying in the room above us would walk around in the evening and the wooden floors meant you could hear every step. Then he would drag things around which I guessed was tools. To add insult to injury he would then get up at five am to go to work each day which woke us up. After three days we needed to wash some clothes, but no laundry facilities are on site. The reception staff never acknowledge guests as they are constantly looking at their phones, and the breakfast area is usually out of coffee and milk as it is not checked regularly. The staff idea of keeping the breakfast area clean is to leave a face cloth for guests to clean up spills. Our key cards refused to work each day so we had to visit reception each time. On two days we found a live cockroach in the bath tub. This microtel falls far short of others we have stayed at and the reception staff need to be sent to the Brooksville microtel for training on how to look after guests and look after guest areas, and provide customer satisfaction. The Panama City microtel is not a good reflection of the Wyndham brand.

I got surprised by the 3 star hotel review, it should have been a 1 star, when I checked in, the smell of the lobby and dining room was a mixed of Marihuana, alcohol and cigarettes. The lady asked me to sign the "No Smoking Policy" which doesn't make sense, cause you can tell all of them smoke.

Lift would not work properly, it kept taking me to the wrong floor, it wasn't clean and there were cigarettes.

Rooms hall smelled just like dump, Marihuana, alcohol, my girlfriend almost vomit when she smelled that. Room was NOT CLEAN, it had cigarettes, unknown hairs on pillows, towels, and there were roaches. There's no TV control and the only channel available is MTV (Sucks).

I had to do early checkout, I ended up staying somewhere else.

It looks like people live there, I saw several times people going up and down with groceries that could last for a month.

Price is not worth it. If only we could record the smell and post it you would definitely understand.

If I could give them a 0 I would. I stayed there for a softball tournament this weekend and it was horrible. Checked in on a Friday night. Sunday morning woke up to three roaches in the bathroom, told the front desk associate and nothing. Two more roaches near the beds and still nothing was done. Monday 3 more roaches, left to stay at another hotel and it is Tuesday morning and I STILL haven’t been able to speak with anyone. I am demanding a refund for the last night and I can’t even get anyone on the phone because they literally just pick up the phone and let it sit there and hang up after 10 minutes. Now, they won’t even pick up the phone at all.

The owner of the hotel was rude. Was not greeted once we arrived. Stop assisting me to help someone else. The website pictures are not up to date. The hotel apparently is on the rough side of Panama City based on the scenery. Random People were hanging outside the hotel and some were also working on vehicles. There were loose animals lingering around the hotel as well. I made reservations online for a suite when I arrived at hotel she attempted to place us in room with a ragedy outdated jacuzzi that wasn’t working and a king bed. Rate 200.69. No sitting area, table or appliances. Was initially told nothing else was available. But magically another room appeared , which was also dirty and smelled like marijuana. Owner yelled at me that if I’m not satisfied I can get my money back and leave!. I requested a refund as offered. Once I left hotel I checked my bank account and was charged twice for a hotel I didn’t even stay at. Worse hotel experience ever in my life.

My boyfriend and I checked into this microtel from the 14th of May to the 19th. We were in room 314. My boyfriend noticed a USED syringe needle on top of the cabinet, out in the open. There was also burn holes almost like cigarette holes in the comforter, leaving us wondering if they even washed the comforter or sheets. Approximately 9pm on May 17th after we found the needle we were put into another room. We were told the manager Patel would be there the following day, which she was not. She couldn’t even show up to work. We spoke with Kai, the front desk clerk who was very professional in handling the situation, advising us to call Patel before checkout. So we did that and explained the situation to Patel and she was not professional and after going back and forth, she did not seem concerned about a used needle in a guests room, saying “there was nothing I can really do”. After mentioning that we have picture proof of everything she hesitated and decided to take off one night of our stay because we checked out early. I would not recommend staying here under this current management especially if you are traveling with family, thankfully we were here on business. And shout out to Kai the desk clerk for being friendly and understanding unlike the manager. We would have liked a full refund based upon the circumstances like how any other hotel would have handled the situation.

I reserved a King room they told me they didn't have one and gave me a smaller room for the same price. Breakfast was toast with no butter and cereal. Didn't have enough towels in room.
I won't be staying at this hotel again.

Terrible experience! Upon arrival on 09/03/2023, I checked in my reservation and was placed in rm 106. Immediately I noticed the AC wasn’t working, I notified staff and they pressed a few buttons and said it’s working now. My family and I then headed to the beach where we stayed for the next several hours until past nightfall. After returning to the hotel, our room was ridiculously hot. I notified staff again and this is where the horrible encounter occurred. The lady working the front desk told me to “suck it up”, she also said “its not my problem and there’s nothing I can do for you” I was appalled by such rudeness. I called the number off the Wyndham main website and spoke with someone who then called the front desk and didn’t get ab answer. I called the number again and another person finally reached the front desk, the lady came in the room, stayed for a few minutes to verify the AC wasn’t working properly and it wasn’t until then that my family were accommodated to a different room. Unfortunately, that AC wasn’t working properly either, but after the difficulties I just encountered, I opted to not even bother complaining to the front desk. I rate this establishment 0/5.

20 minutes depending on the time of year. If you take 23rd St there is a lot of stop lights and shopping traffic. Once you hit the bridge traffic slows down and Thomas Dr and Back Beach are usually crowded.
