I came here to stay for 3 days. I have a school I have to take class. First time I've been here normally I stay across the bridge over on the grand lagoon side. Rooms are clean so far it's clean the snack machine is not refrigerated so the Reese's cups are melted. Anybody that's been in the vending business knows you need climate control machines in the summertime for sure. I thought the price was a little high especially should have gotten a better rate I thought being a choice rewards member. I'll probably try and get a little bit closer to the school.

I had read several NEGATIVE reviews on this hotel. I stayed here anyway due to budget constraints. I am sooooo glad I did. On check-in, they were expecting me with all paperwork and room already assigned. I stayed in a room facing the pool. My room was very clean. The queen bed was very comfortable with nice snow white bed linens. Bathroom linens were also snow white and in good condition. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping my room ready for my return each evening. Housekeeping was also responsible for the breakfast area. The breakfast area was stocked at all times. After breakfast the whole area was wiped down including chair backs! I might add each evening there was a reception with wine, beer, warm chili, chips and munchies. You never see this at a Quality Inn, only higher priced hotels. No mattered what employee you encountered there was always a greeting and a smile. Would certainly give this location a chance.

Quality inn hotel was very good to stay. We stayed here for 1 day. Rooms were very good neat and clean. Bathroom was also clean. We also got complimentary breakfast. Wi-Fi, TV, fridge, microwave all facilities were available. But only problem was this hotel was away from main city.

I booked my room months prior through booking.com, only to discover it was connected through a 3rd party company called bedsonline. I was not able to make any changes or cancellations whatsoever and money was taken off my card immediately . I find it interesting how booking.com does not give me the option to post a review on my experience. I arrived and checked in at this Quality Inn & Conference Center on 7/18/24 and stayed until 7/21/24. My children and I were in town for a family reunion. The location is great because it’s near all kinds of restaurants and stores. We checked in and left our bags and went out soon after. Upon coming back for the night we noticed our dead bolt on the door was broken and not working. There also was an 1 inch &1/2 gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. This caused mosquitos and all types of bugs to be in our room the first night. I had to roll a towel and put it at the bottom of the door to prevent insects from further coming into the room. It was really late and the room phone was a joke because the receiver wasn’t connected to anything and neither was the phone cord. I guess they didn’t want me calling to complain. I went down personally and complained about the door and was told maintenance would come fix the door.
As mentioned we were in town for a family reunion so most of the time we were not in the room other than to sleep and get ready for our events. After several complaints the door was still never fixed. The sad part is I am 100% positive that the owners are fully aware that the door was like this from before but are too cheap to fix it. I’m still trying to figure out how one breaks the deadbolt on a door! This is a security concern. No one offered any solution. In addition to the door not being secured our bed sheets were itchy, someone didn’t clean our room the second night and but came and took two sets of towels and washcloths. The towels were never replaced with clean ones. I guess you get what you pay for but really I’ve payed similar prices and got way better rooms and service. I won’t be staying at this place again.

I went to Panama City Florida to do a one day deep sea fishing with my son and a few friends and decided to stay at this hotel overnight, because I did not want to drive 6 hours back home after my fishing trip and it was a total disappointment. The inside door screw entering my room was coming off and the whole handle was shaking. The shower had mold, there was no pillow, but a pillow one would put on your couch for decoration and one the toilet tissue someone started to use it. I will never go back to this hotel and I will not recommend it to anyone.

My experience here was awful. I was booked from Wednesday, May 29, 2024 to Monday, June 3, 2024. It first started with changing my booking. Due to horrible storms and flooding at home on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, I attempted to change my booking to Friday to Monday. I was told by the hotel (through Hotels.com) that due to the late change I would receive no refund for the two nights i would not be there for. I can understand being charged for 1 of the 2 nights i would not be there, but not both. But I accepted this and moved on.
When I checked in on Friday everything seemed smooth. I left the hotel around 4 pm and when I got back at midnight the room door was wide open. When i went to the front desk the next morning i was told that there was confusion in which room was occupied. I voiced displeasure that the door was left open but was assured by the manager on staff that the security cameras show noone in or out of my room, and was promised that this would not happen again.
Well it did happen again. Saturday we left the hotel around noon and got back after dinner. And to my (non) suprise the door was open again. I complained again to the desk staff and was apologized to again. Now round 3 on Sunday, same again. Left around 4 pm and got back around midnight. Again the door was wide open. Complained at this time (midnight) and the lady at the front desk just blamed us for leaving the door open.
I asked for the general manager's number and was told they cannot give it out. And of course the manager was never on site so i was not able to speak to them. At a minimum I should at least receive a refund for the nights i did not occupy this hotel.
But I will never consider staying here again.

Horrible, The room stunk of old body oder. The bed and sheets smelled horrible. When I complained the maid said it was the blanket that smelled, then she admitted they only “ flip” the blankets when they clean a room, disgusting! Trip advisor your assessment of this hotels ratings is way off. I have lost faith in trip advisor. Unhappy

My husband was in a motorcycle accident in Panama City and was in ICU in the local hospital. We live in Georgia. I arrived in Panama City without a reservation and there was not a hotel room to be found (spring break). The owner was staying at the hotel. When the front desk clerk heard my story they called the owner and he packed his bags so I could have his room. The security person and the lady staffing the wine and cheese bar went to the room and cleaned it. Their rates were around a $100.00 a night but they offered a "hospital" rate of $63.00. Within a 1/2 hour I had a room and was on my way to the hospital. If that were not enough they moved heaven and earth to make sure I could keep that same room. I ended up staying for a week until my husband was released. Beacuse of the ICU visiting hours i was not able to attend the complimentary deluxe breakfast or wine and cheese bar, but the desk always had something tucked away for me when I returned to the hotel. I guess my story of my visit spread around the staff, everyone was so polite and concerned for my husband and me. Several of the staff said they prayed for us. We are ever so thankful for everything they did for us. It is a beautiful hotel and we plan to return (in a car). It is nice to know their are people and businesses out there that will not rip you off and go out of their way to help you.

My good friend was getting married in her hometown of Panama City, and I had to travel alone, without my fiance', to attend her wedding. So, when I was looking for a hotel, I wanted to make sure I would be at a clean and safe hotel. I normally like to stay at "nicer" hotels than a Comfort Inn would normally rate, but I did not want to book a hotel by the beach (her ceremony and reception were not located by the beach) either. Going of off 2 positive reviews from Tripadvisor, and knowing that the groom's parents were staying there, I figured it was worth a try. The rates are very reasonable. When I flew in, I was able to find the hotel easily- it is located conveniently by the local mall, and had a good variety of stores and restaurants within driving distance. I wanted to do an early check-in because I was arriving the same day as my friend's wedding. I needed a place to just conveniently freshen up and change clothes. The desk staff was very pleasant, helpful, and accomodating- they didn't have my room available at the time of hte morning (they were booked to capacity because of a band competition in town that weekend), but they asked for me to come back in a little bit, and they would make arrangements to see if they could switch me to another room which would be vacated earlier. I was cutting close on time, and when I went back to the Comfort Inn an hour before my friend's wedding, they gave me the keys to my new room, which was in a better location (not in the back)- when I checked in my room, they had transferred the welcome basket that my friend had dropped off earlier- Comfort Inn made sure it followed me to my new room and was not lost in the shuffle of my changing rooms. I returned from the wedding late at night, but felt safe even walking alone to my hotel room that night. The room is clean, and has great amenties that I wouldn't have normally expected from an average motel room- a TV within an armoire that had adequate closet space, plus a fridge. The next morning, there was a generous breakfast buffet (this was how I discovered I was surrounded by a whole bunch of band people), and I unfortunately forgot to pack my toothpaste. I went to the front desk to ask if they had any, and they gladly handed me toothpaste samples.
I know I've rambled on and on, but I really was impressed that despite the fact it was a "budget hotel", the customer service and amenities far exceeded my expectations and made the experience a very positive one. If I ever had to go back, that would be my first choice hotel to stay at; I highly reccomend this hotel to any future guests.

The Comfort Inn and Conference Center is one hotel I look forward to. When traveling to Panama City on business, the hotel staff knows me when I arrive. Their newly redecorated rooms are nicely furnished with king beds, refrigerators and microwaves. There's a great pool and recreation area, plus it's close to local restaurants and shopping. Plus the rates are very reasonable all year round.
