Don’t be fooled by the Springhill Suites name. This hotel seems more like a full fledged Marriott. It is a fairly new property and very well maintained by the many employees we saw tending to the grounds and replenishing towels by the pool deck. We had an oceanfront balcony room. The room was very clean and functional, and the view could not be beat. The pool is large and beautiful - great for kids or for relaxing at the well-stocked and tended pool bar. There was also a fun DJ in the afternoons. And the beach, which is accessed directly a few steps behind the pool, cannot be beat. The biggest difference between this hotel and a pricier resort is dining. There is a breakfast buffet in the mornings and a coffee/snack shop by the pool that sells Starbucks, sandwiches, and ice cream until 4:00. But you’ll have to go elsewhere for dinner, which means driving somewhere or ordering delivery. There are a lot of restaurants within ten minutes. If you want to leave the pool and beach, there isn’t much to see or do within walking distance from the hotel, at least not in October. The area felt very safe, but it is mostly little souvenir shops and older hotels. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and the gorgeous beach.

First off, let me start by saying that this is not your run of the mill Springhill Suites. This one totally feels like a resort! We stayed in a double queen room with a sofa bed. What I liked about the room was that they were very long so they felt extra big. We booked on points so we got a rear view which was fine....it's not oceanfront view but it was still a nice view.
This hotel does provide complimentary breakfast and it seemed to busiest from about 7:45am - 9am. The selections were pretty good too - coffee, tea, milk, juices, yogurt, toast, bagel, waffles, oatmeal and grits, and a selection of rotating hot items like eggs, sausage, bicuits, crustless quiche, egg/ham/cheese sandwiches.
This hotel has some decent on-site options for food which was also different from some of their other Springhill properties in the panhandle. They have a quick service spot with ice cream, sodas, chips, hot dogs, pizza and salad. You can also order from the pool side restaurant & bar. Speaking of the pool, this pool was great with a lazy river that was fun. We did not have problems getting chairs although I think they could use a few more umbrellas.
This hotel is also right on the beach. The beach is beautiful and there is also a pier nearby that you can walk or fish at. There is a chairs and umbrella service but we did not use it so I don't know how much it cost per day but I know they have daily rentals and offer a multi day discount.
They provided housekeeping service every two days so you do not have to worry about hounding them down for fresh towels or to take your trash.
The only downside and the reason I knocked off a star is because this property charges $25 a night for parking while most of their other properties do not. The elevators can also be quite slow at high times (too bad they didn't build it with another 3 elevators and one that specifically goes to their service stations bc it kept stopping to pick up staff with their tubs of housekeeping stuff and then they couldn't fit in the elevator). My other gripe is that the mattresses were awful and the pillows were totally flat. I could feel the coils in the mattress so it may be time for them to replace them. They also only put 3 pillows on each bed which I thought was weird since typically hotels put two pillows per side.
This hotel has laundry on the 2nd and 12th floors. We did not have a ton of encounters with staff but when we did, they were all helpful and courteous.
All in all, this property is great for families and the rooms are very comfortable for those traveling with kids. You won't regret staying here.

We didn't stay at this hotel, but we were given the courtesy to use the pool and beach from our hotel - Marriott Legends Edge (about 25 minutes away) because they are refurbishing the pool area at our hotel. The pool was nice (not real big) with a lazy river as part of the pool. They had pool towels and pool umbrellas to use. It is on the beach which is really nice. We had a sub sandwich ($14) at the poolside restaurant and there is a pool bar - closes at 4pm. Happy hour upstairs starts at 4pm with 2 for 1 tap beer and 1/2 price well liquor drink specials ($10 regular price).

My family (4 of us) stayed the last week of June at this hotel. It was our first time visiting the PCB area and we left very impressed with the hotel. It's new, clean, and modern. The 4th floor lobby really is amazing and has plenty of seating for breakfast or to eat lunch/dinner at. The restrooms in the lobby and on the beach was very clean which was a bit of a shocker. Towel service near the pool was very easy. The covered parking ($15 per night) was very convenient and worth it. Breakfast had a decent variety (oatmeal, eggs, biscuits, sausage, cereal, etc..) and was pretty good. We did not visit the pool as we spent all our time at the beach but it looked very nice as well. The beds were very comfortable but my wife and I really disliked the pillows as they were too soft (I needed two pillows stacked on top of each other for comfort). The beach was amazing and the hotel is truly beachfront. Beautiful white sand beach with minimal seaweed and the water was very clear as you could see lots of fishes in the water. Gaston at the front desk was very nice at check in. The elevators can be slow during busy times so I'd recommend getting a room on floors 5,6 or 7 so you can walk the stairs as needed. Everyone we met at the hotel was very nice and respectful. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights/2 days and not once did we receive housekeeping. Upon arrival the room smelled stale, like the carpets could have us a good vacuuming and/or shampooing, but we chalked it up to it maybe just being a stuffy room. The next day, our two small trash cans were full, we were already out of toilet paper, and the shower soap dispenser was empty (which tells me they didn't check the rolls/soap when cleaning from the prior guests stay). I put in a request at noon on the Marriot app for towels, trash service, and extra soap. By 3pm our room was in the same state, so I called the front desk and asked about house keeping and was informed that house keeping service was provided every other day and we should receive service the following day. I then requested the same items I did in the app to the front desk staff. At 8pm, still nothing so I physically went down to the front desk and gather the items myself along with trash bags so that I could change the trash myself. The following day, in the afternoon we noticed the housekeeper working down the hall, even at the room right next door, but they never came by to clean our room. We were left with a huge pile of dirty towels we had to place in a corner and yet again more filled trash cans. Being a hotel on the beach and having such small trash cans you would think at a minimum, trash service and vacuuming would be done daily in each room, but apparently not. Not sure if there is a staffing issue or a scheduling issue, but either way it knocked an otherwise decent hotel down a few pegs.

I'm so sorry to hear the lack of daily housekeeping caused your stay to be less than enjoyable. Most major hotel brands no longer service guest rooms daily. We staff and schedule to service rooms that are staying longer than 3 nights every other day, which will soon be the Marriott standard for SpringHill Suites brand. Our friendly front desk team members do their best to monitor the chat feature on the Bonvoy app and there are sometimes challenges with that. I will share your feedback with the Front Office Manager to ensure our guests request are being met as expediently as possible.

Refused to cancel our reservation 10 mins after booking when we saw it was $20 a day parking fee. Room is only cleaned every other day. Still coffee for room and body wash was empty & not replenished. As well as towels, Breakfast was a lot to choose from , again out of chocolate milk. Elevator slow and 1 broken. Lines to get on. Beds were comfortable and overall clean, carpet a little worn. Best part is views and beautiful pool. Nice place a little overpriced once you add parking fee to the bill. Would consider again interior entry feels safe but for price would consider Holiday inn Resort a mile down the road with many more activities

The hotel is situated beachfront and my sister & I had a fantastic view from our balcony! The room was fresh & clean and available early so we were able to get into our room when we arrived! Unfortunately, the rest of the stay wasn’t as stellar. Only two of three elevators were working and those two were slow and constantly packed. It made me grateful to be there in Feb before it got super busy! We visited the pool bar and paid $24 (before tip) for the 2 weakest margaritas that I’ve ever consumed, even the mixer was watery. That was after we asked for something on draft and were told that their kegs were frozen.
At check-in, we were told that we would need to schedule housekeeping 24 hours in advance which we did. When we returned to the room, nothing had been done. Apologies from the desk who rescheduled it for the next day and was super responsive in providing hand towels & wash cloths (which weren’t in the room to start with) and changing out the empty conditioner in the shower. Next day, NO housekeeping! Again, front desk staff to the rescue with fresh towels, additional lotion & coffee pods.
The lazy river does not have tubes. I am fairly certain the poorly inflated ones that were there were left by guests. When we’ve stayed at other Marriott properties with lazy rivers, tubes were available. We still enjoyed our day at the pool! It was heated & clean and the weather was perfect!
I know they don’t have trouble selling out due to the location, but I’m not sure I’ll return given the level of frustration caused by the elevators and housekeeping issues.

Those tubes are a great suggestion, thank you for the feedback. It sounds like we had opportunities to provide better service during your stay and we weren't able to deliver. I'm so sorry we didn't exceed your expectations. The elevators are all operational and we've deployed a new communication strategy to ensure we're delivering a clean and relaxing environment. If you do return we would love your feedback on our changes in Latitudes Bar.

Front desk crew are super friendly and helpful, staff was excellent even when they were a bit short staff. Location was perfect and beach access are excellent, made the experience feel like it’s a private beach for hotel guest. Meaning it not as crowded as other part of the beach.
Breakfast was average (biscuits and gravy, self serve waffles, oatmeal, eggs, yogurts, muffins, toast, bagels, cereal and juices). No bacon no other fresh fruits. It can get pretty busy near the closing time. 9am, weekday and 10am weekend.
Parking are easy as it is on ground to level 3, parking fee seem to be avg for most beachfront hotels and safe. Free parking across the neighborhood street if you can find one.
Try to stay near lvl 4 (lobby) As if the elevators get busy , which it does , you can just use the stairs. Much faster and easier then waiting etc
Pool and beach access in ground level., pool is great it up super early and late for those late summer swim.
Agin beach access was super easy and seem super private for guess. Bring your chair and umbrella as rental are not included in the hotel.
Pool and lobby have some simple but tasty food options with an convenience prices to match.

Lobby and pool are pretty but didn’t make up for the hotel’s shortcomings. As bonvoy platinum we’re used to the front desk thanking us for our loyalty, offering us a welcome gift, and a room upgrade. None of the above happened, we couldn’t get into our room at the check in time we requested when we made the reservation, we were told we would get a call when our room was ready (we didn’t), and when we finally got into our room, the bathroom light doesn’t work. We’ve been waiting on service for 2 hours after multiple calls. So unable to shower because it’s pitch black. The “fridge” is some power saving cheap excuse of an appliance and you have to press the ON button every 2 hours to keep it functional. The pool is nice but packed and too many people for limited amount of chairs. There is no beach chair service as you’d expect for a beachfront hotel- you have to rent them separately from a third party. This hotel has a lot of potential but currently is a big disappointment. Do not recommend.

Dear Guest, I do apologize your expectations were not met with this visit. We try very hard each and every day to provide the best service we can, and anything less is unacceptable. Our minifridges work on their own, with a "max a/c" option for 2 hours of max refrigeration for anything needing colder; I apologize for any confusion. There is a myriad of third-party rental businesses along the panhandle that rent a section of beachfront to accommodate guests at most hotels. However overall, the beach is not owned by any one property or person. We certainly do our best to investigate any part of the room that is to your dissatisfaction, and I apologize this wasn't your experience. Hopefully one day in the future we can host again and make a far better impression. We hope you have a great week!

My husband and I met some friends for the Seabreeze jazz festival the end of April. The Springhill Suites Marriott was very accommodating as we had a last-minute change in our location. I think the front desk staff could have been better educated regarding the amenities in the area as they were out of laundry detergent and sent me on a wild goose chase.
It was not a big deal but I think it’s important to the front desk staff to accurately describe local amenities. I also found the laundry equipment to be very dirty. I have attached a picture of the washing machine. Routine cleaning should be done for that type of heavy use appliance. Other than that it was a great experience.

The hotel said the pool was heated but on Jan 15 it was too cold for me (67 yo) but i saw kids swimming happily.
They have a huge hot tub next to the pool over looking the gulf! Awesome view!!
