A nice, clean military campground within walking distance of the beach. We laced up our shoes and walked to the Barrancas Military Cemetery, Light House, Fort Barrancas, and the Naval Museum. Prices are reasonable. Target and Walmart within 10 minute drive out back gate.

Yes they say no swimming but we saw families with small children.. we went down the beach and had a swim.. we are both competent swimmers so had a sneaky swim.. and.. no coolers or sun chairs.. some people would take their own chair and leave it in the sand for the duration of their stay. as its very private beach only used by the camp people the chairs are safe to leave there.
