I was a walk-in without a reservation. The check-in process was one of the slowest I've experienced in a long time. The shocker came when I got handed my towels for the room. The room was in a separate building. The buildings were almost directly under a high power line.
Inside the building where my room was everything seems to have been leaking. Buckets on the floor.
My room did not have a refrigerator! Really? Yes, i could not place my beverages and food in a refrigerator.
I turned off all the lights and went to bed eventually. After a while I woke up. The lights were back on!!! I got up and turned them back off and went to bed again. I woke up again and the lights were back on! I turned them off and went back to bed. Later at night the same thing again but I did not get back up again and let them be on. The light switches were one of those sensor types that you only have to touch lightly. Well, that was pretty annoying. I think it has to do with the charge that comes off those high power lines above the building.
At check out time in the morning the lady at the front desk actually went to my room to check and see whether I did any damage to the place. Once she returned I got my deposit back :). Time consuming.

There are so many terrible things to say about this place"
1. They won't allow you into the lobby, you stand outside and talk through a window and slip your credit card under the glass. And this isn't a health precaution.
2. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful.
3. It is in a terrible part of town.
4. The facility is filthy throughout the hotel hallways
5. There was no maid service for our stay, including even swapping out towels or emptying the trash
6. The telephone would not ring the front desk
7. The humidity level in the room was so high that the floors were damp. Only when we set the a/c on 64 did the floors dry off
8. The physical condition of the room was run down.
9. Half the hotel was having construction done on it, and the workers kept the outside doors open so that the interior of the hotel hallways were 80 degrees just like outside.
10. no refrigerator, no microwave
11. Pillows were thesemtiny little wads of nothing.

WARNING!!! Health Department Has Been Called! The owners should be ashamed to have these people working for them and this place representing Quality Inn as. franchise or themselves for that matter! The staff at this establishment is completely incompetently rude and clearly does not know how to run a hotel or perform proper customer service. Nor do they know how to properly check behind their employees to make sure that their establishment is properly cleaned and sanitary as I found a marital aid , trash, and dishes shut into my closet! And the best the so called manager Jenifer can do is give me points that don’t even equal a full nights stay. The place is filthy, under contraction, has additional restrictions like your in prison, and full of extra fees. For example taking your breakfast back to your room they try to charge you 15 extra dollars which is ridiculous. Do not stay at this establishment stay far away and or you will have a disappointing time because nobody in the right mind should be staying there. If I could give a 0 I would and I indeed have called the health department and informed them!!

This is the worst Clarion branded Choice Hotel I have ever stayed in. I have stayed at Clarions in a number of states and ALWAYS been very pleased with my experience...but not this one!

My mistake, I prepayed for for my room I booked.

Guests that I did see were pretty "sketchy".
Day Manager looked as sketchy as guests.

Bathroom toilet paper holder was broker and I have picture to prove it.
TV control would not turn TV on, and when Manager showed up with replacement the replacement had tape across the back and although it turned the TV on, I could not turn off the TV nor change channels. Eventually unplugged TV to turn it off.

WIFI was for most part okay but was sporadic at times also, rate it a B-

There is NO Microwave in the Room
There is NO Refrigerator.
There is NO Elevator if your room is on second floor.
You are not allowed into the Lobby according to some so called "Covid Rules".
There is no coffee available except for crappy little coffee make in room for 1 cup.
I was not recognized or accorded any benefits as a Diamond member, not that it matters that much but of course I will never stay there again.

There are much better places to stay as part of Choice Hotel chain in Pensacola, but how this piece of _________got a Clarion brand is beyond understanding.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We got into Pensacola around 8 pm. The lady was extremely rude. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt because she works nights. Well it got worse from there. Walking into the building where our room was there was ceiling tiles missing exposing pipes and some were leaking. Then we get into the room. There was no deadbolt lock just the lock on the door handle. The toilet was broken and couldn’t flush the toilet. When we got to the bed it looked like the sheets hadn’t been changed for weeks. There were burn holes in them hair and multiple stains. I only got a few pictures. Then the window was open and it did not have screen which is a huge safety risk. No elevator being on the second floor and carrying bags up stair that are wobbly is not cool. This is a place no one should stay there seemed to be no standards and it seemed no one cared. I had to cut our stay there short because of how bad it was.

The beds provided a nice place to lay your head at night and the front desk staff were friendly, but that’s where the good stops. The bathroom was tiny, the towels they gave us were dirty - we went to Walmart and bought our own to use, and our rooms were not cleaned at all during our stay from Friday to Monday. It was a great price, but you get what you pay for.

This hotel is DISGUSTING and should be closed down. Instead of trying to repair this property, it should be torn down and rebuilt. The pictures on their website are very misleading and totally misrepresent the condition of the property. The hotel appears to be one that should be rented by the hour as opposed to a vacation rental, or in my case, evacuation. We recently had to evacuate for hurricane Ida. It was very difficult to find a pet friendly hotel in the nearby (safe) areas. We had driven all night getting out of harms way and could not get in our room until 4:00. Upon entering the the front office, I became skeptical, but it did not prepare me for what I was about to encounter once we drove down to the building for our room. The locks on the doors to the hallway were broken. The entire area smelled of marijuana and was full of trash. Our room was horrible. No bed coverings, broken/rusted fixtures in the bathroom. You just got this crummy, yucky feeling when you walked in. We didn’t even unpack the car. We were totally exhausted and there were no available rooms around, so we had no choice but to deal with it. We got some sleep, checked the news for updated info on the hurricane and found another room 3 hours away and checked out of this dump, which in my opinion should be considered uninhabitable. Shame on Choice Hotels for not doing a better job of monitoring the quality of their properties.

This hotel has been one of the worst hotels I’ve ever been to. The rooms were dirty and we found bugs on the beds. The ceilings were crumbling and there was dirt in the bathtub. There was only one roll of toilet paper. The workers were not helpful at all, and we had to go to the front desk twice because our keycard didn’t work. You weren’t allowed to go inside the front desk and you had to wait outside for them to respond. Th housekeeping don’t even Worst hotel ever, don’t visit here it’s not worth your money.

I usually chose 2 star rooms because most of the time they end up being nice. Usually it's 2 stars because of super picky people. All I care about is clean rooms and decent price mainly. As I approached the office I noticed a few people waiting outside. When I went in I saw a sign about people over staying, I am assuming people live here. A lady waiting on the clerk told me run. I told her I booked on hotwire it was too late. She said the place is horrible, which scared me lol. The desk clerk was actually nice and upgraded my room for me. No room numbers was visible on the outside of the hotel so you have no clue where to enter. Inside the hall and stairways are hot, muggy, filthy and full of weed smoke. The rooms inside appear upgraded and clean. When you look real close the sheets seem dirty, toilet paper holders are rusty and room smells horrible. Our stay was not horrible but not fit for children and the price should be way less.
