We drove our boat to the Tarpon Lodge and stayed three nights. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed on the second floor of the lodge in a room that had a balcony with table and two chairs. We were blessed with wonderful weather and the nice windows let in the gorgeous sunlight. Boating in this area is...

We spent 4 days here in our first ever vacation to the gulf coast of Florida. We couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations, restaurant and activities. All the staff was very pleasant. We stayed in room 6. Little small, but very clean and well appointed. The balcony has a great view and is quiet. We birded multiple times...

Tarpon Lodge is my favorite place to dine while on Pine Island. It is a perfect mix of very fine and very casual dining. The soups are always good here, as are the salads, appetizers and desserts. Try the chicken quesadilla or the shrimp tortilla. You will not be disappointed. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Good selection of...

The lodge was very nice. The rooms are small but nicely located and some with balconies. Located directly on the water with docking space. Ability to rent boats from nearby marina to explore outer islands. Rooms are slightly pricey but the view makes it worth it.Grounds are well maintained and pool is adequate.

From the glamor days of "old Florida" and in this completely refurbished lodge from the early 1900's, The Tarpon Lodge owners have re-created the luxury accommodations and exquisitely fine foods that were served here a century and a half ago. You don't drive past this restaurant by accident. It is a destination, and it is one you shouldn't miss! It's...

We stayed in room #6 with a king size bed and had a balcony that overlooked the bay. The room was meticulously clean and extremely comfortable. We knew we were in for a pampered time when I received a call from the receptionist asking if we wanted reservations for dinner that night. And this was before we even arrived. We...

My husband and I were guests for one night last week and enjoyed our stay very much. The lovely waterfront location, the peace and tranquility, the sense of 'old' Florida were all important to us. We had dinner at their restaurant and found it excellent. We particularly found the staff very friendly and helpful, whether passing in the hallway, serving...

Stayed here April 5 - 7, 2016 in the Sanibel room in the lodge. Room was not overy large but was well appointed and comfortable. The small balcony overlooking the pool, grounds and water was especially appreciated. We would sit there with a glass of wine , admire the view and simply enjoy each others company. The room was right...

My wife and I had dinner at Tarpon Lodge on March 31st. Both of our meals and salads were excellent. We've been there many times before and always have been delighted with the service and the food. The staff and the chef are teriffic! It's a hike over to Pine Island, but definitely worth the drive.

There aren't many fine dining establishments on Pine Island, but this one takes care of that. Make reservations. You'll want to start off with a nice cocktail outside prior to your reservation. There are a few tables and benches or you can walk the shoreline. The restaurant sits right on Pine Island Sound. Plenty of Pelicans, Terns and such. The...
