I would recommend that you deal directly with the General Manager of the hotel or Marriott's corporate office in order to provide feedback. This information possibly can assist them in changing certain practices and improving services. Depending where you made the reservation, if you did it directly with Marriott, you should be compensated in one way or another. If you did it through a third party, the chances of getting any reimbursement or attention certainly decrease. Hope this helps and hope that you have a better experience with a Marriott hotel.
