Detailed Reviews
Cape San Blas Inn was a wonderful place to stay! The location is terrific- it's right across from the beach and the general store/restaurants. The Inn itself is very clean and modern. It faces the bay and has a nice table where you are served the best breakfast! I can also tell that they pride themselves on their cleanliness- I was very impressed.
The room I stayed in (Turtle Shell) had a private porch overlooking the bay. The room was very spacious and had the most amazing fan over the bed. It also had a fan on the porch outside. The room has a mini-fridge, as well as beach towels and chairs for guests to use.
Wendy and Shai were the two individuals that ran the Inn and they were both lovely! The served the most delicious breakfasts and were very helpful and kind. I like that you could either eat breakfast at the dining room table and visit with the other guests, or have it delivered to your room.
I definitely recommend this Inn and look forward to staying here again.

The San Blas inn was everything you could ask for when travelling.
Shei and Wendy the innkeepers were fantastic host, they greeted us upon arrival, showed all around gave us recommendations on things to do, where to go and places to eat . But eating their morning breakfast was a highlight!! great taste presentation
the location was perfect, of the back entrance you could take a stroll on the pier to go kayaking, or cross the front street at the hotel to stroll to the beach .
also within walking distance was a great general store selling everything at reasonable prices.

My family has been going to Cape San Blas for many years. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil and beautiful beach for your vacation, this is the place. I usually stay at a family member's home, but I've always admired the Inn. When I visited recently and needed another place to stay, I was so excited to have the opportunity to stay at the Inn. I was not disappointed! The inn is so quaint, in a great location, and the two Innkeepers are extremely attentive and helpful. The social distancing guidelines were followed, too, so I felt comfortable and safe. Breakfast is delicious and an extra bonus! The views are magnificent! I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for such terrific service!

Everything about our recent seven-night stay was absolutely terrific. From the time I booked the reservation and had questions politely and promptly answered, our experience with Cape San Blas Inn was wonderful.
Let's start with the staff; Wendy and Shea are absolutely great. Both are friendly and helpful, from giving tips on local restaurants and points of interest, to providing fresh linens and toiletries, they are the faces of the facility. Each does a super job of providing a delicious breakfast - I'm telling you, it's a treat to wake up each morning with this on the schedule - which is served daily at 9 a.m.
Our room at CSBI provided a comfortable and clean sanctuary when we came in daily from the beach and activities. The rest of the place includes a large breakfast area in which to eat, a super back deck that overlooks St. Joe Bay and provides a great place to drink coffee and watch the wildlife each morning, and a small dock from which you can launch paddleboards, kayaks and canoes.
Yes, CSBI offers full use of their canoes and other water activities, complete with paddles and lifejackets. Also, there are several bikes available that you can use to explore the local state park or check out local scenery on the lengthy bike trail.
The beach is just across the street, as is a small grocery and market, an ice cream shop, a liquor store, a donut shop, and a couple of options for lunch.
All in all, our stay was about perfect, and we would highly recommend Cape San Blas Inn to any couple looking for a great place to stay while on the Cape.

The Inn is lovely and Wendy the Innkeeper is fantastic! The Inn is spotless, our room was sweet and had a wonderful view of the Bay. The entire Inn is decorated beautifully. Just perfect for a romantic getaway. The Inn provides kayaks, canoes and paddle boards for their guests. We took advantage of this amenity and used a canoe to explore the Bay. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. As we are early risers, we appreciated the hot coffee in the morning.
We were treated with such kindness and thoughtfulness. We highly recommend the Cape San Blas Inn! This is absolutely the perfect place to stay when visiting the area.
Thank you Wendy for a great stay!

This B & B was spotless, the breakfasts were delicious and beautifully prepared, and the location was beautiful, right across from the beach. But the one thing that I will remember the most is how the staff made me feel, welcome. Thank you Ana and Macaela! š

We loved Cape San Blas Inn from the moment we walked in the door. It was welcoming, there is a spiral staircase, It's quiet and clean and feels like it has the vibe of the island. We stayed in the Turtle shell room. It has an incredible view of the bay from the screened in balcony porch. This room has a large shower with a rain shower head, couch and table, and beach chairs! The bed was so comfortable. Waking up to sunrise with all the windows and then going out on the balcony was one of my favorite parts of the experience. Coffee was ready downstairs in the morning. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, as well as the presentation of the breakfast from the strawberry infused water to the stuffed french toast, it was absolutely beautiful. The person that was working had a warm kind disposition and made us feel welcome. He was the best host we couldn't have asked for better. He answered all of our questions and even changed our reservation at night to an upstairs room and waived the extra cost. It was also a great experience to meet other people during breakfast and just sit and talk. We loved it here so much that we are planning a next visit.

This is a great inn, in a beautiful location- feels like old Florida with new amenities. Right in the bay with a dock, kayaks and paddle boards. My room was bayside and had a small table and chairs in the bay window area, there is also tables and chairs for sitting out back. Room was very nice, comfortable bed, good shower, large tv. Breakfast was fantastic- fresh made quiche, fruit and blueberry muffins. Across the street is a small store, donut shop and ice cream shop and a short walk to a spectacular beach. Beach is sugar sand and. It very crowded.

Cape San Blas Inn just took first place on my extensive list of BnB's that we've stayed in. We were greeted at the front door by Wendy the Inn Keeper. Wendy is awesome. She's super friendly and interactive, always greeting guests with a big smile. Upon check in, she provided an overview of the property and showed us to our room. The property is well maintained, and has a very quiet and relaxing vibe. Cape San Blas as a whole is a hidden treasure. Even though we were there over the Fourth of July, there were no crowds, and zero traffic. It was so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. The beach is a short 5 min walk from the Inn, and the Inn provides complimentary beach towels and chairs for guests. I would be remiss if I did not mention the truly outstanding breakfasts. Our room had a balcony that were able to take our breakfast on, which Wendy delivered with a smile. The food was fantastic in quality and quantity. Needless to say, we will be staying here again in the future.

Just got back from a way-too-short trip to the Cape San Blas Inn. We had the most wonderful time at the Inn. Inkeeper Shae made us feel welcome from the start and the accommodations and breakfasts can not be beat. We can't wait until we meet again! Loved the Inn and love love love Cape San Blas. Nothing to do there but relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. perfect!

Hi Cliff,
Thanks for considering a visit with us here at the Cape San Blas Inn.
Our Sand Dollar room has 36 inch wide doors and a larger bathroom to facilitate a wheelchair.
However there is one step to gain entrance through the front or back doors. There is also one more step from our deck down to our boardwalk which leads out to the end of the dock about 200 feet unencumbered.
If you would like to discuss our Inn in further detail please give us a call 850.229.7070.
We look forward to serving you soon.
Thanks,
Shai
