This place was gross. The a/c unit smells like mold. The shower leaks. The walls are thin, but you can't use the ac to drown out hallway or outside noise dye to the smell. There were ants in our bed one night, we didn't have food in the room. The hall to our room smelled musty as well. Never again.

We spent 16 nights here ,leaving cold north early till our airbnb was ready for February. Our room smelled of urine, but looked updated and clean. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast is a joke, black bananas, no lids for coffee, no yogurt, mini muffins that sat for days. Coffee is supposedly available all day, but they lock doors at 9:30. Had to ask 3 times for new sheets and towels. Took us all day to get them.. They are not cleaning your room. Rooms have no information about hotel and location of pool. Pool is in need of fixing up and most of the lounge chairs are ripped. Not sure who owns this hotel, but they take no pride in making this nice. Great location and could be a nice place. They have a wonderful view. That was worth one star.

This room is totally out of touch. For the $200 a night it is a terrible mistake. See photos attached. You can smell Woodstock up in this joint. I’ve seen better toilet seats on Navy ships. Dang this place is outdated as hell did I mentioned see attached photos.

We got a waterfront room which had a great view of the bay and Peace river. This hotel was a mixed bag, so here are the pros and cons: Pros: friendly staff, room was clean; king bed was comfortable; microwave and refrig. Cons: the wifi signal was so weak it was unuseable; two tiny pieces of soap in the bath; no coffee maker in room; breakfast was just a few pastries, cereal and one coffee thermos that ran out quickly. Also, there was no telephone in the room in case you needed to call another room or the front desk. In all my decades of travel, I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that didn't have a phone in the room. Weird. Overall - okay place to stay for a night or two. If you're wifi is important to you, make sure you get a room with a useable strength signal. Also there was a band playing loudly on the pier outside for hours on a Tuesday night; don't know if there is music in the evening on other nights also. Just a consideration if you need to turn in early to get up early.

The hotel is in such a nice location. Unfortunately the new management has let this once very nice hotel fall into disrepair. Also, the front desk staff is so incredibly rude now...I have no idea why the management allows these rude individuals to work with their customers. Hopefully the management will change so this hotel can be nice again.
