Fabulous resort, the float pool is like the inside of a volcano, incredible ambiance and relaxing experience, Staff were very helpful with translations to English. No signage was in English, which is understandable since The Netherlands is not England. Food was very good, emphasis on fish dishes which I really enjoyed. Would love to go again.

My girlfriend and I visited you last Friday and Saturday for at least the 10th time. Once again it was super nice and everything was well taken care of. A friendly welcome at the hotel where you will receive the wristband for your locker at the sauna where your bath towel and bathrobe are ready. On the 2nd day you will receive a clean bathrobe and there is the option to purchase a service pass so that you can exchange your bath towel even on the day in the sauna. The service in the restaurant is great, friendly and helpful, the food is varied and super tasty. When the weather is nice you can also eat outside on the terrace. Many different saunas with different temperatures. Various infusions and other rituals such as singing bowls in the Kelo sauna and a singing bowl meditation in the yurt. Lovely garden with beds. Excellent hotel room, minibar available. Spacious bathroom with lovely smelling soaps, rain shower. The toilet is separate. Kettle and coffee maker available and a lovely bed. In short, highly recommended.

A full spa day was simply perfect! Our second visit here about 10 years after the first, we came back this time from UK. LOVED IT! The spa outshines any spa we have visited in the UK. After a relaxing day we had fantastic food for an amazing price added to our hotel stay. Hotel rooms are great with modern bathrooms, great shower gel and cozy beds. Will be back again!

I booked a reservation through their website for a Deluxe Room with Spa Access. This was an expensive room, considering it did not include breakfast, a robe, a towel, etc. I booked the reservation directly through the hotel's website, with an understanding that it can be canceled up to 48 hours prior to arrival.

I tried to cancel over a month in advance, and the hotel refused. The hotel falsely claimed that I booked through booking.com and they did not have the authority to cancel this reservation. I knew this was false, but to entertain this idea, I contacted booking.com and they claimed that they did not have a reservation under my name for Thermen Bussloo. When I explained this to Thermen Bussloo's management, they did not believe me and told me that they could not cancel my reservation. I retraced my booking steps, and noticed that a company called Hoteliers handles the hotel's reservations. Hoteliers confirmed that I booked directly through Thermen Bussloo's website. Still, Thermen Bussloo claimed that that they did not have the authority to cancel my reservation.

After dozens of emails, Hoteliers contacted Thermen Bussloo and explained that it was their prerogative to cancel the reservation. Only after this was done, the hotel agreed to cancel.

I expect much better service from a four star hotel and do not recommend anyone stay at this hotel (too expensive, not a good bang for your euro, and rude management).

The occasion was that I turned 60 at the end of last year and my wife surprised me with a sauna day including lunch and dinner a la carte. We hadn't been there for a while and we had a great day together. Where we spent €160 a few years ago, it was now €240. If you pay €5.50 for a cup of tea (note that this is boiled water) and €12 for a dessert and you really get a very small piece, then I'm a bit lost. And of course I know that prices have gone up, but this is quite extreme. The service in the restaurant was top notch, unfortunately I don't know her name, but this lady really enjoyed her work. Not once did I manage to offer my wristband before she had already asked. 😂

In the Thermen group, Bussloo is perhaps one of the older complexes. You will notice that in the main building where things cannot match the experience you have in sister complex Berendonck for example. However, the complex is very extensive and there is something for everyone, a lot of different saunas nicely planted...especially in the very beautifully landscaped garden. I found the pourings variable in quality where as a point of attention for the on-call pouring machine is that their thumped-up wheel with the ‘regulations’ may also be quite...intelligible despite 90% of the sauna-goers quite knowing that you sit on the towel with the whole body and that (big!) towel is the only thing you need in the cabin!
Cheap it is not at all and the prices of food & drinks you can even call at times...ridiculously high, although it has to be said that there are several drinking fountains here and it is tolerated that you fill a bottle with water. Another really important tip for the ignorant sauna-goer; make sure you decide for yourself whether you want the real sauna experience and therefore... want to enjoy it naked. There are also regular swimwear days but they are a whole for the real sauna-goer! It seems like a kind of southern water paradise where everyone has no regard for rules. So only go on the non-swimwear days if you really want the experience...in peace.

Three days in a bathrobe, even at mealtimes, makes you forget the time. The room was clean, tastefully decorated and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the rain shower was very pleasant. The staff in the hotel and spa were always friendly and helpful and the food service was quick too. The food was delicious, attractively presented and there was something for every taste. We had booked massages as well which were worth every cent. The whole complex is well maintained, saunas and baths are in good condition and with the great program there is no chance of getting bored...

An incredible number of saunas, with great infusions or changing seasons and scenery. Clean pools, a wide range of different pools, whirlpools, foot baths, etc. And all of this in a dreamy setting like in a fairy tale. The floating pool in the style of a volcano is also particularly great. We would love to come back

We have been here in the past and it has been amazing. The hotel, sauna, restaurant,
Everything was amazing.
We live in the UK. Do not get any time together as a couple and I am a full-time carer looking after our nine-year-old who is neuro divergent.
For many months I had waited for the Christmas holiday package to come after a member of staff at thermen bussloo had told me on the phone that the Christmas package deal would come out at the end of September or the beginning of October.
I have now just found out over the phone that they will not do a Christmas package at all and that we will have to pay more than €100 per person extra to get the same items that we would have gotten in a package deal.

We are rarely in the Netherlands and this was such a special and important thing for us to do and they will not even honour the price.
A member of staff has told us months ago that a Christmas package was coming up at the end of this year, I guess making money is much more important than anything else, but we will not be able to go here now , because it will cost us approximately €564 instead of €300.

We feel so disappointed we do not get a break in the UK and part of the excitement of coming to Holland for us was the opportunity to go to the sauna for two days whilst my friends look after our daughters so we waited for this Christmas package deal for many months, but they will not honour the price of the ‘herfst arrangement’.
we still would’ve spend enough money here anyway, but I guess they want more money and we will not be able to come because of this greed.

We are very disappointed with Thermen Bussloo.

Neural to negative: the changing area is quite narrow and only has one toilet. Not all saunas have hourglasses. We would have liked a few more underwater jets/neck lamps.

Positive: we thought the bags and the drinking water fountains were very good. At every sauna and pool there are enough shelves for glasses and shoes and hooks for towels and bathrobes. The outdoor area is beautifully designed and well maintained and there are lots of loungers and nice relaxation rooms inside and outside. Highlights for us were the Mexican grotto, the Ottoman bathhouse and the infusions. Overall there are really lots of options and choices for sweating, cooling off and relaxing. The restaurant is beautifully designed and we also thought the food was good. We will definitely come back again :-)
