Room was very dated, bed had sand in it. Peeling paint on the walls. Amenities lacking. Balcony looked nice in the picture on their website but the air conditioner blows hot air right at where one would sit making it barely tolerable in the summer temps. I had a credit card on file and was not asked for anything else...

The managers were lovely and pleasant (their names escape me, it is a mother/daughter team who live on premise). We stayed in the Dolphin room which by the pictures on their webpage I knew there were French doors to the porch. What I didn't know is that the "view" is the wall of the building next to us which was...

My girlfriend and I went to St. George island for a last minute weekend getaway. This place was the only option available in the immediate area so we booked. After reading some of the other reviews, we were a little "iffy" about our choice, but I've gotta say that we were both pleasantly surprised. First of all, the hotel is...

Management was super nice and helpful. She left the key out for us as we had a late arrival. As far as the actual room, Meh... Decent for a night. Nothing spectacular. Bed was against wall, with no plug-ins nearby. It does have a kitchenette which would be handy if you were staying for a while. There was work being...

I called at the last minute and got a room. Coming in late they left a key in an envelope at the front desk. The room was very homey. The bed very comfortable. No one at desk when I went to check out so just wrote my phone number down if there was a problem. Transaction went through as quoted....

Our room is so spacious. We have a very large bathroom. In the room there is a king bed a queen bed and a pullout bed couch. The room is nice and cool which is very nice to go into on such hot summer days. There are French doors that lead onto a wrap around porch. There is wifi and...

This is the most dog friendly place we have found in the good old USA.The room has beautiful French doors that open up to a wrap around porch with rocking chairs to relax in while overlooking the bay on one side and the quaint town on the other side. Streets are pedestrian friendly and filled with golf carts mixed in...

We stayed two nights at this inn after checking out of another inn on the island. The rates are very good and the inn keeper, Jamie, was incredibly nice and helpful. She and her husband made us feel very welcome. She found us a room at the very last minute, and even let us pick between two open rooms. The...

Positives... nice location, walking distance (less than 6 blocks to most restaurants and one block to the beach) comfortable bed, loved the wrap-around decks and rocking chairs on the decks. They are repainting and updating rooms. Love the hardwood floors vs carpeting. Pet friendly. Negatives.. We had to ask staff 3 days in a row to defrost freezer in the...

What can I say, as you'll see in the pictures below our room was not necessarily something we should have paid for. Everything from black mold, dirty sheets and dust on every piece of furniture. Of course none of the appliances work i.e. the refrigerator or microwave. We stayed in "Windjammer", which is extremely dated and not in a way you...
