Our room is so spacious. We have a very large bathroom. In the room there is a king bed a queen bed and a pullout bed couch. The room is nice and cool which is very nice to go into on such hot summer days. There are French doors that lead onto a wrap around porch. There is wifi and... More

This is the most dog friendly place we have found in the good old USA.The room has beautiful French doors that open up to a wrap around porch with rocking chairs to relax in while overlooking the bay on one side and the quaint town on the other side. Streets are pedestrian friendly and filled with golf carts mixed in... More

We stayed two nights at this inn after checking out of another inn on the island. The rates are very good and the inn keeper, Jamie, was incredibly nice and helpful. She and her husband made us feel very welcome. She found us a room at the very last minute, and even let us pick between two open rooms. The... More

Positives... nice location, walking distance (less than 6 blocks to most restaurants and one block to the beach) comfortable bed, loved the wrap-around decks and rocking chairs on the decks. They are repainting and updating rooms. Love the hardwood floors vs carpeting. Pet friendly. Negatives.. We had to ask staff 3 days in a row to defrost freezer in the... More

What can I say, as you'll see in the pictures below our room was not necessarily something we should have paid for. Everything from black mold, dirty sheets and dust on every piece of furniture. Of course none of the appliances work i.e. the refrigerator or microwave. We stayed in "Windjammer", which is extremely dated and not in a way you... More

This was our first trip to St. George Island, Florida. And what an incredbibly beautiful place to visit if you have never been. This was our 10th Anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere different. So my wife found this area and suggested we go. Short notice, the night before we wanted to leave. We found St. George Inn available... More

My husband and I made a stop at St. George Island on the way to Miami. We booked a two night stay at St. George Inn. On the outside, it looks appealing though they are painting it and left many of the remodeling items in the way. The problem is the rooms, we stayed in the Winward which had a... More

Between the mix matched sheet set and the stains on the comforter, I didn't even want to sleep in the bed. When I finally crawled in, the live band at the bar right outside of our door started playing. the only time we couldn't hear the band was when the air conditioner would kick on and we would have to... Thank you for your comments. We are spending a lot of time and energy to improve... And pointing out where to improve is a definite service to us and to future guests. - Jacuzzi tub's lack of water pressure: your feed-back enabled us to track that the expensive fixtures we had purchased for Neptune were not shipped according to specifications.... We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. After reading reviews, we were hesitant and concerned about our stay and packed accordingly to be prepared. I called and spoke with Wesley who reassured me and personally promised to make sure our room and stay would be nice and he fulfilled his promise! In addition, he made sure I knew I could... More
