We've stayed at our fair share of B&B's over the years - from Florida to Maine, and England to Italy. The Dicken's House remains at the top of our list, so much so, that we come here regularly, as we are blessed to be only an hour away by car. My wife will come here by herself for a personal... This is a beautifully furnished and really interesting home, and the guest accommodation is clean and very comfortable. It's on a quiet, pretty street, easy on-street parking, but only a few minutes walk from Beach Drive, which has a very good range of food and drink options, and where you can pick up the trolley bus (50 cents a ride),... My partner and me read many recommendations about this place. It was a unique experience. The B&B facilities are more then fine, the room design was theme oriented as promised. But there was something even greater - the B&B host service was warm, kind and highly informative about the few attractions on the area. The superb yet homey breakfast served... More

My boyfriend and I spent a beautiful time at The Dickens House Bed and Breakfast! We enjoyed Super friendly owner host Ed, delicious breakfast, very well kept property, and our cottage was amazing! Also, location is super convenient - walking distance to all restaurants and attractions! We strongly recommend this villa and we will definitely will stay again there :)... More

My wife and I only live about 15 miles from Dickens House B&B, but we just finished our third stay with Ed. We're in our 50's, like to travel, and have stayed in very nice hotels and B&B's across the country. Dickens House is far and away the most enjoyable B&B we've stayed in. Ed lovingly restored the home to... More

First off, due to crazy rains in Florida I needed to change my reservation so that our trip could be more enjoyable. The owner was great and happily moved our dates back, no problem. Thank you!! Upon arrival no body was there to greet us but no problem a quick phone call and the door code was given and even... More

Ed met us at the door with maps and directions for dinner and places to visit. He was so gracious and kind. The room was very clean and included all you'd need for 2 nights away. We used the fridge for our 20the anniversary wine and leftovers from meals eaten out. We used the DVD player with a movie we... More

Beautiful restored Arts and Crafts house very well situated in St Petersburg. Short walk to the beach front and all the restaurants. Very handy for the trolley bus. House is beautiful inside and out, full of character. Our bedroom (The Cottage Suite) was a good size and the bed very comfortable; all very clean and good linens. Breakfasts were excellent,... Our love of blues festivals has led us to St. Pete on two occasions (so far!). We stayed at Dickens House on both trips and could not have made a better choice. The festivals are held at Vinoy Park which is a 5 minute walk from the B&B. Also within walking distance are great restaurants, museums and shopping. The accommodations... More

Dickens House is located at the centre of St Petersburg, very close to the beach, parks, a swimming pool and a variety of bars, cafes restaurants. Despite its close proximity to all the action, the street was very quiet. The house was tastefully decorated, beautifully lit and very clean. The proprietor Ed Caldwell was a wonderful host; he did everything... More
