Was scheduled to stay the weekend at the Majestic Sun property through Wyndham but since I'm a VIP member had selected to upgrade my room should one become available. This is not what I would call an upgrade. I saw no difference in the size of the room or the accommodations and this place is a mile away from the beach where the other is right across the street from it. Like most properties these days it lacked in cleanliness whereas we found hairs in the bed and a dead beetle is the corner of the bathroom. Room has some modern items such as USB wall chargers and nice TV but furniture is older but not is bad shape. Did not get to do much is the resort itself since only there for the weekend.

The condo itself is super nice spacious clean and cozy. The condo had washer dryer kitchen supplies etc. The bed and matress was ok not the best but did what we needed it to do. We had the 2 bedroom pull out sofa in living room with 2 bathroom for a family of 5. Nice area but about 6mins from the community beach and 15 mins from the main beach. Only issue I had with the community its self its super huge and you are not able to rent golf course overnight in that area. The condo does offer bike renter which was pretty cool. The balcony had 2 chairs kind of small so bring extra chairs if you have a family. OVer all I give the condo 4.5 this resort is part of timeshare and they do try to have you sign up for presentation for gifts

This was a timeshare visit. The rooms are very nice. The location had a lot to do. We enjoyed the boardwalks, shopping and eating seafood during our visit. Parking was an issue, the parking lot is a ways from the building and very little light is in the area we stayed in.

I was booked to stay here June 14-19. Booked 3 months ago. Received a text from the management company today that they are unable to contact the owner and are cancelling my reservation. Six days before my scheduled stay, I'm cancelled, but if I had cancelled less than 30 days out, I'd be charged a few. I booked through VRBO, and I know this is not a direct reflection of Wyndham, but it is unacceptable to cancel a family's vacation less than a week before they arrive scheduled to leave. Now, my only option is to pay 2-3 times my original price or cancel my vacation. Neither is an acceptable option for me.

I booked this hotel 3 months in advance for me and my son. 5 days before we fly into Florida the hotel calls and canceled my reservation. They wouldn't even give me a definite reason as to why. I am now having to find and pay more than double for a last minute reservation. They wouldn't even offer to help me find a new place to stay. When I called the hotel there is no answer and your required to leave a message, to which nobody will return the call.

Dump. Filthy, when you need to go to store and buy tub and shower mildew remover, sanitizing cleaners. It’s that bad. Feet stick to the floor dirty. Need a tetanus shot after you touch the fridge bad. I’m sure this room was cleaned at one point in 2020 but since then probably not. What a total disappointment to say the least. Room 546 is terrible, patched holes in the walls with no paint. Just a total dump. Not asking for 5 star but this is not different than a $19 night hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised that Club Wyndham Bay Club II was so clean and amazing large rooms. I read reviews that almost scared me to come here of being dirty and outdated. This is not the case at all. The employees are very courteous as well. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Free shuttle to the beach and wharf.

We stayed on the 4th floor. Great room, excellent service, and friendly workers. Beach was crowded but that’s to be expected with Destin being as beautiful as it is. Went on Blackwater canoe trip, and glass bottom dolphin cruise. Had a great time on each and highly recommend while visiting.

This is a very quiet resort. The resort is situated on 2,400 acres just 8 miles from Destin. There are sidewalks everywhere; you can walk through a tunnel that goes under 98, and walk all the way to the beach. Walking slowly, the walk is a 20 minute walk to the beach. You can drive to the beach as well, and be there in about 3 minutes. Parking at the beach was free for resort guest, and guest could also use a bathroom facility near the beach.
If you are a golfer, then this is a great resort for you. Not only can you golf, but you also have access to many miles of beach. Wednesday the maids come in and exchange towels, and pick up all the trash. The unit has plenty of space, also has washer / dryer in each unit.
The beds were not that great, and the shower appears to have “water-savers” installed so there wasn’t much pressure. However, everything was clean and appears to be a fairly new resort. Parking we plentiful, and there were lots of places to eat. Also, there was a Publix within a mile, and even a Wal-Mart within 1 ½ miles. There is a Starbucks on property, and one across the street that you can stop off and have coffee while walking to the beach.
We would certainly consider coming back to this resort.

We loved Bay Club II on Sandestin's beautiful resort! We had a great room on the 6th floor that overlooked the Bay. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The master bedroom was huge with a king size bed with its own private bathroom area. It had a huge walk-in shower, jacuzzi, twin sinks, and a separate toilet area. The 2nd bedroom had 2 queen size beds with access to the 2nd bathroom. The kitchen was adequately supplied with cooking utensils that we used all week long for cooking our meals. The room also had a large eating area that easily will fit 8 people. The best part of the room, though, was the beautiful view! It had a balcony that overlooked the bay and golf course.
The resort itself was huge! It is supposedly the largest resort in the country. The resort offered a tram service that took you to the beach, restaurants, shopping village, or anywhere else that you wanted to go within the resort. You really didn't need to leave the resort at all if you didn't want to. The beach was beautiful and very clean. The resort also offered several pools for the kids to swim in.
It was a great week for my family! We had 2 adults and 4 teenagers in our group. The pools were too cold to swim in since it was early April (they weren't heated), but the ocean was enough entertainment for my kids.
I would recommend grocery shopping at the local Winn-Dixie instead of the resort store because the grocery prices will be much cheaper off of the resort. (Be sure to get the Winn-Dixie card to save even more money!) The restaurants at Baytown Wharfe within the resort seemed to have comparable costs compared to the other nicer restaurants outside of the resort area within Destin. Definitely give them a try.

Yes, they rent 2 chairs and 1 umbrella for $25 half a day and $40 all day. If you are traveling by car I recommend go to Walmart and buy your own chairs and umbrella.
Check in time is 4pm. Please make sure you contact the front desk at 850-269-1078 as this property has limited hours and will be able to provide you with after hours check in process and how to gain access to your unit. I hope you have a great stay!
