Best way to describe this Residence Inn is it’s very consistent with our past stays there in many ways. We stayed for 10 days and had a wonderful time. Kaishai the manager works well with her team to understand expectations so the guests have a great experience. Daniel at the front desk along with Marco and Samantha provide great customer service. Aledela (?sp) and her staff in the kitchen do a great job replenishing the various foods. Mariana our housekeeper was very prompt in cleaning our room thoroughly when requested. It’s obvious the employees enjoy their jobs with all the smiles they have on their faces and interacting with the guests. The hotel is spotless!! It’s located in a nice area with stores and as well as a Publix grocery store. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars but decided with 4 but it all ended up working out in the end. The hotel itself is nice, room was clean and spacious with a small kitchen. Located near everything but off the main road to cut down on traffic noise. My only Complaint is that we had requested an early check in. (Check in is at 4 and I had a wedding 20 minutes away beginning at 430) and needed a place to get ready. When I had originally requested early check in they told me it wouldn’t be 100% guaranteed but a good chance, to call the hotel the morning of between 7-8 and ask if the early check in was approved. That’s when everything got annoying, the girl at the front desk stated there was no approval process, sounded like a recording saying “check in is at 4, it’s the weekend so we are busy and early check in can’t be guaranteed”. When I explained the situation to see if there was any wiggle room, she said to call back between 1230-1pm. So I called again between that time frame, the same girl picked up, and said the same “recording like answer”....check in is at 4, it’s the weekend and they are busy, no early check in guaranteed”...so her suggestion was pointless, gave no effort to help. We then decided to show up at the hotel at 230 to see if we could get in one last time, which they did so all worked out. Then come to find out, another couple from the wedding had the same problem. They showed up at 2 to see if they could do early check in, told them no without even trying then after begging (because he was the one getting married!) they called housekeeping to see if a room was available and gave it to them. We understand rooms take time to be cleaned when check out is 11 but the lack of even trying for either of us was very frustrating.

Have stayed at this hotel several times. It has gone through major renovations over the last two years. The upgrades were badly needed but through it all the staff worked hard to meet the many challenges and satisfy everone in general. They are about the best group of people that we have come across in the service industry, without question.
Now the renovations are almost complete the hotel is transformed into a warm welcoming environment The breakfast area has a good selection, well stocked and excellent cleanliness. I have no hesitation on returning and encouage guests to remember someone follows after you and the cleaning staff have limited time at each room to keep the rooms as excellent as they are today.

Great breakfast and great staff. Clean rooms. Our room on the first floor smelled mildew-y. It was quite bad. The carpet is very old and so is the furniture. I literally remember that same couch from a Residence Inn we stayed at in 1998 (not a joke).
If they just had new carpet and paint throughout it would make a huge difference. The carpet is so old you can just smell all the coastal years.
We weren't allowed to have glasses or plates/pots in our room (due to COVID?) So what's the advantage of booking a Residence Inn again...? Also no housekeeping cleaning allowed (COVID). If you wanted fresh towels you need to come to the front desk. I understand the modifications for COVID but for this level of service, why am I paying $179/night? It just wasn't a good value. Sorry.

I’ve given the staff ample time to recover an item I know was left on the premises due to our hastily packing from an early morning obnoxious fire alarm (in which my first call was within hours of realizing what I had left behind, but already in another town). According to management, with diligent searching (several weeks later) on their end, it was simply “not found”, just said there’s no way that it could be their housekeeping, yet there’s still no sign of it?!? Hmmm? Even after me having to contact them several times to give them the opportunity to make it right or make restitution for my loss. But, it’s my mistake for having left it in the first place.. Good to know, won’t be staying there again, and not referring family and friends ! Thanks Residence Inn for allowing me to think I could trust your facility to turn in my item to lost and found, NOT! I’ll be better prepared for grabbing and dashing on my next fire alarm!

For the past 3 years, we have spent our Thanksgiving at the Residence Inn. We love it. It allows us family time and it gives us enough space where we are not bumping into each other. I must admit we don't like the idea of staying in a place where pets probably are sleeping on the same space as us, but it appears to be clean and the staff is always helpful. We may try somewhere else next year to see if we can get the same bang for our buck, not sure yet.

The policy yo allow pets in any room is not good. The couch in our room had flees and ticks. Removed 2 ticks off my wife and we both had at least 10 flee bites on our legs. We did not walk in the woods and arrived after driving all day from central Florida. Noticed the bites the following day abd am treating the bites with anti-itch medication do we don't scratch and cause more infections. The hotel is nice both they need to spray rooms for bug infections and should NOT open all rooms to pets. We should not have to deal with infections from other guests. Ultimately, the Marriott is responsible for ensuring all guests are provided a clean room and hotel facility. Will never stay in a pet friendly hotel.

This a nice hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights in a 1 bedroom with a kitchen.
It is located near just off highway 98 which is a major roadway along the waterway. There are plenty of shopping places and restaurants around the hotel.
The room is nice. The living, bedroom and kitchen are all in one open area.
The bed is comfortable with 4 pillows and room for two adults.
The bathroom is adjacent to the bed with the sink separated from the tub/shower. Water pressure was great.
The kitchen had a full size refrigerator but the automatic ice maker was not working. They did provide two ice trays which worked ok for us. I just wondered if younger generations would know how to use them.
The pool area is nice. One medium size pool with two hot tubs which accommodate 8 people each.
The staff is friendly and check in went smoothly. The elevator was always available.

This place was great we had the one bedroom suite and it was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The staff were friendly and efficient and the free hot breakfast was great. We will definitely return again.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting and is in worst condition than a Motel 6. Is it not fit to be called a Marriott hotel and the images on the website are extremely inaccurate and I felt tricked once walking in. I checked in and checked out for a full refund in less than 10 minutes after walking into the dirty smelly hallways and into the assigned room that was full of pet hair, outdated, smelled horrible. More money was spent on the lobby to trick you into checking in. I came on a family trip with small children and was extremely inconvenienced in having to go and find another hotel at the last minute because we could not stay in this disaster of a hotel. I have only stayed at Marriott for the past 10+ years and because of this experience I am considering taking my loyalty to a new brand.
