No words can describe the feeling of the inn and the feeling on Sanibel island. My sister and I stayed for 3 nights. We stopped a Publix before we went to the cottage. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils...If you want peace this is your place to be!

We stayed in suite #4. It was in the back which to me was the best. We had a large communal yard int he back with tiki tables set up. There is a screen in patio for each unit. The unit itself was good size with 2 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms. You must rent bikes and cruise around it was... More

We just returned from spending 4 nights at the Driftwood Inn and found it just right for our needs. We enjoyed long hikes on the beach daily, public access is right at the end of our street. We also rented bikes for our stay and enjoyed riding every day. The bike trail goes right past the Driftwood. Our cottage was... More

Very lovely little cottages near to the beach and to the main Sanibel Island activities. Rent a bike and you'll have access to everything you will want or need. These cottages are dated but are very well maintained and wonderfully clean and functional. Dog friendly for those with furry little family members. Bridget is a dream and will solve any... More

My friend and business partner and each of our dogs just spent 4 nights after Christmas at the Driftwood Inn. This two bedroom, 2 bath cottage was ideal for us. It is roomy, the kitchen is very well equipped, it has good Wi-Fi, and there is a great patio to sit out on, have coffee and evening cocktails or meals.... More

My husband and I just returned from our anniversary trip and spent 4 nights in our cottage at Driftwood Inn. We loved our 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage as it allowed us to have separate bathrooms to get ready in. In off season the rates are totally reasonable. It was nice, roomy and comfortable although the bed was a little... More

My parents and I stayed here in December 2013, and we had a great time. At the time, the property needed a little TLC, but it now has new owners. It is neat, fairly clean and well cared for now. We just left a 2 night stay: August 2015. This is a pet friendly property with 4 units. It is... More

Good value for the money, especially the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom in the off season. Nice location to access lots of the fun things to do on the island. Quiet in the bedrooms, but it's on a busy road, so ask for the suites in the back, if you can get them. It comes partially equipped, in that you need... More

I stayed at the Driftwood Inn for three weeks in May/June 2015. The cottage was charming, clean and spacious. Bridget was more than accommodating and provided everything I needed to make my extended stay on the island a wonderful experience. It was only a very short walk to the beach, maybe 5 minutes. The cottage was pet friendly so I... More

Mu husband and I just returned from a 4-day stay in one of these charming "cottages." We were pleasantly surprised by everything we saw, given how affordable the place was. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed. Bedding was comfortable, although the mattresses were a bit hard for our taste. The... More
