Very nice and clean rooms in a real tropical setting. Rooms had everything we could ask for really. Good value for money on Sanibel. The only two things we were missing were a pool and some staff on site. The owners obviously operate another accommodation as well, a mile or two down the main street. You can use that pool,...

My Wife, son(11) and I stay at The Parrot's Nest ,to celebrate our 25th year wedding anniversary. Both my wife and I have worked in 4 star resorts, and were surprised by Parrot's Nest. The hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable and we felt right at home. For being a 2.5 star rated hotel, the amenities that we found they...

We stayed at the parrot nest hotel for a romantic getaway. We love Sanibel and have visited several times. The parrot nest resort was disappointing at best. The rooms are actually efficiency rooms with a small kitchenette king size bed and the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen. Located about a half-mile from the lighthouse it was convenient to walk therefore...

Very clean, VERY cooperative and helpful staff -- even though they're not on property (they're at a sister facility nearby), nicely furnished and decorated. At the quiet east end of the island, but an easy drive (or bike -- or walk!)to everything.

From the minute we arrived, we felt we were at home. It was so comfortable and private. There was great attention to detail, anticipating our every need, yet we were completely on our own to occupy our space in a most relaxed and comfortable manner. I loved everything about it ... especially the lush tropical landscape and quiet location. We...

We took advantage of a special price and got this for $99 which normally is about $135. Normally, you get what you pay for but we got much more! Clean and warm, this secluded place, was quiet but with ideally located near restaurants at the east of the island within a 20 to 25 minute walk to the lighthouse. Check...

If you are looking for a quiet room on Sanibel, where you won't be disturbed by cleaning staff or other guests and can prepare your own light meals, I'd recommend the Parrot Nest. It's not on the beach, but it is very close to the beaches on either side of the island, and the lighthouse, in the old south-west end...

Stayed here for 3 nights in October! Great location! Walked to restaurants and Lighthouse Beach and quaint little shops! The resort had everything you need, clean and updated wonderfully! They even had coolers and beach chairs you could take to the beach. Can't wait to get back here next year!!!!

we stayed here for two nights in November and loved it, the location is perfect, the cottages are amazing, we loved #5, it had everything you could need and if you are so inclined there is plenty of shared outside space to sit out etc, they provide deck chairs, and you can use umbrellas and nets and use one of...

We had 3 nights at this adorable little gem on Sanibel. Loved our unit #4. Very quiet location near restaurants and beaches. We rented bikes for the duration from Billy's Bikes and loved cruising the island on them. Loads of trails to cycle. You can really park the car and head off on bikes if not lugging too much gear....
