Came to Sanibel as I had heard good things and wanted to check it out. The hotel is lovely, not too big and right on the beach the people who work here are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble . There is not really anywhere within walking distance to eat, unless you don't mind a long walk. Overall...

We booked our Gulf View room online. Upon arriving, we weren't pleased with our view. They had no openings the first night, but moved us our 2nd - 4th nights to the second floor with Gulf View #4109. Beautiful view! There was a $20/night up charge, but the view was so worth it!. (See pic). The rooms were clean and...

Very pretty and clean! We had a suite with a kitchen and screened in porch. View of pool/ocean. Ocean is a short walk with chairs and umbrellas provided. Great place to walk the beach and search for shells. Beautiful swimming pool and hot tub. Towels provided and front desk. Free use of bicycles which I highly recommend. The bikes glide...

After four years away, we finally returned to Song of the Sea and it was just as good if not better than our last visit. We stayed in a gulf front suite with a view of the ocean. Like other reviewers said, the property is dated but clean and updated with flat screen tv's in each room. We found it...
