We had the issue of taking our small dog with us for a weekend birthday celebration. We were very cautiously optimistic with our choice. Much to our delight, we were treated like royalty including our little dog. We were greeted by a wonderful manager, Linda who could not do enough for us. The A frame unit we stayed in had...

Quick getaway that was also pet friendly. Older property, clean and very friendly. Looks like they are doing some remodeling which is a plus. Was not expecting the ritz, just a nice quiet place...we got one of the a-frame cottages which was cute it would of been better if it had just a few extras (hair dryer, iron) and maybe...

A last minute decision to go to Sanibel led us to the Anchor Inn. All they had was left was a regular room which we found to be small yet spotlessly clean. This motel was built in the 60s and maintains that Florida kitsch charm of that period. While not on the beach, you can drive to it's sister motel...

My family stayed last weekend in one of the cabins - the staff Lorraine and Pat couldn't have been more helpful. They told us the best restaurants, gave us perfect directions to everything we needed and told us the best times to go everywhere. They really made our trip memorable with their suggestion to take the bikes to go shelling...

Small family owned place. Clean and quiet. Nice pool, close to everything in Sanibel. Reasonably priced. Kitchen was included in the room, its very handy. Mini fridge, microwave and stovetop. Child friendly.

We booked one of the cottages for our vacation. We were excited about the cottage having a kitchenette as that would allow us to save some money on meals, and we received a very good summer price special through their website. That being said, I had read these reviews previously and expected a warm welcome. However, I had the distinct...

Although it was not on the beach, but you do have access to there sister property which Is a "private" beach about 4 miles away but worth the drive. the anchor inn and cottage was a great value. The had bicycle rentals on property which was very nice. We had our 15 yr old daughter and friend w/us so they...

At Anchor Inn you stay in the heart of the Island, and are directed to their exclusive private beach about 6 miles away. The staff is the best on the Island. The value you get from Anchor Inn is almost too good to be true. We were able to stay longer because the rates were so affordable. Plus we were...

The cottage we stayed in was absolutely wonderful - spacious and conveniently located. We'll definitely be back! Once inside the cottage you feel like you're away from civilization, but you have all the comforts of home.

Being a FL resident, we sometimes forget to take advantage of the wonderful places around us. A stay-cation was in order and the destination was to be Sanibel. It was my very first time on this beautiful island and I hope it won't be my last. Cottage 21 at Anchor was a fine home away from home. Clean, cozy, and...
