I stayed here for the First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon. The hotel is clean and it is in a great location if you are running the Half (approx 1.5 miles from the start/finish). Plus it is reasonably priced. The hotel is an older hotel, but the interior of the rooms appear to have been upgraded recently. The only downfall is...

Really nice mom and pop run operation. Like staying with family. Originally we came for a few days but extended for a week. Basic room was nice but suites with simple kitchen and separate sitting area more comfortable. Quite enough and the most comfortable bed I've experienced in a hotel. Couch a bit hard and could use upgrading. Lots of...

The room was clean and it was nice to have a little kitchen available, especially the refrigerator. I will say though, that the room service was inconsistent - we never had the same number of towels left every day, had to ask. I had asked for a flat pillow, but never got any response to that. As others have said,...

This hotel is in a decent location and is pleasantly decorated. However, our room was not clean enough. Obviously, I don't know if this is a widespread issue or an anomaly, but it tainted the otherwise good impression. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights, arriving at 11pm. We were able to check in just before the staff left for the night, even without a working visa-card (we payed the next day ). Parking was a bit limited, which resulted in a dent in our rental's door the next morning because we had to park next to someone who had...

Stayed 3 days and it was a good choice. A reasonably price hotel in the Sarasota market with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Minor issue with limited cable selections but management said they are in the process of changing providers. We will take them at their word. BTW, no free breakfast no big deal. We are frequent travelers...

The motel was near The Ringling, so it was convenient for us. It was very clean. It appeared to be freshly painted with nice bedding and features that I as a traveler appreciate. We had a table and chairs by the kitchenette area and used both the refrigerator and microwave for our breakfast. Having those 2 appliances made it possible...

I rarely write bad reviews. The first thing was the neighborhood. There are seedy motels and massage parlors within a block of the motel. Secondly, the ceiling and floors must be paper thin. I asked for an upstairs room because i go to bed early, but the front desk clerk was unhelpful even though I checked in early and was...
