I would recommend this Hotel for the purpose we had, we needed a Hotel for the night since we travelled 1700km from Greece. Its Old style in the rooms and we had a train passing now and then outside our window. Good restaurant and as mentioned before super nice owners and staff who really made the visit nicer!

We were here with a group of friends for dinner. It is a rather expensive place so we expected great service and food.
The food was great! I had gebratene seiblingsfilet with vegetable ragout and gnocchi and it was delicious.
However, the service was not satisfactory. Very slow and unattentive waiter and we all got the food at separate times.
When we wanted to split the bill he told us to 'do it ourselves' because he was alone and apparently busy (even though the restaurant was completely empty). Not a good impression.
We did not stay at the hotel, so my review is strictly speaking about the standard of the restaurant.

If you want to try traditional Austrian cuisine, visit Fischerwirt. It is not the "for tourist" version, the quality of their meals is excellent, the portions are generous. Staff is helpful, atmosphere cosy and traditional, great non-smoking section, when the weather is good, sit out in the garden. Excellent coffee, too!
