My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Coconut Bungalow, which was very clean and nice. The bedroom stayed a little warmer than the rest of the place... could probably use a ceiling fan in there... but other than that I would rate this place 5-stars. The employees are the nicest you'll find anywhere, and...

The couple of things that would make this place better is if it wasn't a mile from the ocean! And it's a bit far from downtown. The closest restaurant is Turtle's on Little Sarasota Bay, which is excellent and a mile down to your right out of the parking lot. There is a fishing pier for fishermen/women to try your...

A family of four...and each of us loved every minute! We loved our bungalow, loved the canopy of trees over the courtyard area, and relaxed next to the fountain in the courtyard. Kayaks and bicycles available for use (free!!) was a huge plus! Kayaking on the lagoon (salt water, so no alligators!!) in the early morning was absolutely peaceful! My...

Ok, I just read the review from Linda M and I just don't know why she would write what she did. I stayed in the Tortuga the FOLLOWING NIGHT and it was SPOTLESS! There was NO foul odor, no seeping water and no mold or mildew! It is a charming cottage and I loved, loved, loved being there. It is...
