We did the white water rafting and then travelled an extra 1.5 hrs to get to borderlands. It was out of season and we were the only tourists there .

Spent two nights with a small group of friends. Really liked hike into local village and canyoneering. Calm getaway from the hustle, bustle and grime of Kathmandu. Food better than expected. Road passable, but occasionally adventurous.
Borderlands Resort was absolutely wonderful. Friendly people. Watching the river flow through the mountains. Showering right under the light of the stars uncensored by pollution. What do you want more?
We spent a couple of days here and very much enjoyed the hospitality even though we had pretty wet weather. The location is truly spectacular, alongside what was a raging torrent and the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Good homely food...More
