Love this place. Food is great. Drinks are great, especially 'between the sheets'. Hotel renovated by a true entrepreneur who used no taxpayer dollars to renovate the hotel. The only slightly downside is parking, when just for dinner and drinks. Always use a cab after visiting, you will not be able to drive!

I visited Floridian Palace Hotel last night for drinks and food before heading out for Friday night. The food was excellent - the chef is definitely doing a great job there. The place is deserted though and it probably has more to do with service. The bartender in the hotel was deplorable. He was pompous and rude to our party....

I found it to be a very nice hotel but just for short stays. Starting with the location, it is very convinient, one time that is close to the downtown, close to some restaurants and also to the Casino. The hotel does not provide breakfast at all, even with you are willing to pay, what I found very upsetting. Also,...

We came to town to watch a show and this hotel was at a very convenient location for us. The reason why i gave it only four stars is that when we arrived to check in there was no one at the desk for about 20 minutes and a gentlemen that was there before us said he had bee waiting...

I wanted to support a historic property, but it did not want to support me. No coffee. The machine on my room did not work, and there were no options except 'walk a few blocks and there is a coffee shop.'

I recently rented several rooms for myself and family for a wedding (at another location.) Really stunning hotel physically. Prices are affordable in my opinion. But with there are a few things missing from what you would expect at such a grand palace. But to me, that's a good thing. No bellhops when I was there to help with luggage,...

I ate in the Crystal Ballroom for a reunion-type dinner with a large group. I was amazed by how beautiful the space is-- very charming. Our server was great-- very attentive and gave great recommendations. She engaged with us to just the right extent-- we were also very eager to talk among ourselves. The salad dressing was especially delicious-- I...

At first blush, this hotel is gorgeous. It feels so luxurious when you walk in, like you are stepping back in time 100 years and traveling in the finest style. And then there's reality. The parking lot is tiny and there were no spaces available when i arrived. After circling 15 min, I finally parked in front of the dumpster,...

We made a reservation for a King room and received confirmation. When we checked in the desk clerk didn't say anything about us having a double room. When we arrived up to room it was a double. This was a trip for us to get away and spend "alone" time together, now we are stuck in a double bed. When...

One of the most beautiful hotels I have seen. Very charming, classic, and elegant. Staff was very nice, accommodating and helpful. Way better than a big chain hotel! Pretty centrally located, we were able to walk everywhere downtown Tampa, as well as to Ybor City. Will definitely be back!
