We visited Tampa for my grandmothers 90th birthday. We reserved 4 rooms at the Floridian. We were not disappointed. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The pictures on the website don't do it justice. It is a great place for those who truly appreciate the historical value of a place. Don't stay here if you want new modern amenities, because it's...

I don't know about you but I like the hotel room to be completely dark when the sun comes up in the A.m however here that is not the case. The decoration do make you feel like your in a palace but be prepared to not sleep in. Ok so after hearing a loud noise coming from the air condition...

We were on the 19th floor, so a decent view - of the courthouse. You can hear trains passing by, but generally the hotel did not seem busy ever. The front desk was not that helpful for local information - fine for finding a small shop or breakfast place, but not for a good mall, place to buy specific things....

A very mixed bag but overall decent experience. A beautiful albeit aged hotel. Classic decor. Lovely room. Extremely reasonably priced. But there are issues. Primarily of cleanliness and upkeep. While my room was clean I could see evidence of stains on the tile floor and walls of bathroom. If you can see past issues like that it's great.

We attended a conference recently and we really liked the historic theme. The rooms were well kept and quiet. This was a plus. Sorry, the hotel did not have a shuttle service which would have been great, but overall it was a nice stay. It would have been good if the room had something to explain the hotel offerings and...

We stayed there overnight as part of our anniversary. The room was large but odd shaped due to the conversion from the antique hotel to now. The furnishings are antique reproductions. The bathroom is pretty standard. The bed was firmer than we like, but we slept well. The location is at the north end of downtown and surrounded by buildings...

We stayed here one night - a rough night it was. Understanding that the building is historic, we didn't anticipate what that meant in terms of modern amenities one takes for granted - from ice machines to air conditioning. After parking in a designated hotel lot across the street, which was sketchy and unattended (not counting the homeless sleeping on...

This is a grand old hotel, that has been somewhat restored to its former glory. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The service at the hotel is very poor. Many of the employees are visibly detached from their jobs and spend a lot of time either complaining to each other or looking at their cell phones. While I was here,...

Hotel stands at the border of downtown, close to the bus station and new construction. You can easily here every hammer at the construction site. Breakfast does not exist, neither inclusive or paid. They say rooms were renovated 3-4 years ago, however, conditioner already is not able to switch of with the button - you have to jump on the...
